Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a storage system having a drawer supported, when extended from a housing, by a lid. In an illustrative example, the drawer may have a first engagement feature. The lid may, for example, have a second engagement feature. The housing may, for example, have a first slide configured to slidingly receive the drawer. The housing may, for example, have a second slide configured to slidingly receive the lid. In a support mode, for example, the lid may be disposed in the second slide beneath the drawer such that, when the drawer is slid out of the housing beyond a first distance, then the engagement features interact to extend the lid from the housing such that the lid supports at least a portion of a weight of the drawer. Various embodiments may advantageously provide a cost-effective, transportable, and/or modular storage system.

Abstract: An electric toothbrush stowage device for sanitary stowing and charging of an electric toothbrush includes a housing, which comprises a base that is positionable on a surface so that the housing extends upwardly from the surface. A charging plug is engaged to the housing proximate to an upper end of the housing. The charging plug is complementary to a charging port of an electric toothbrush and is insertable into the charging port to charge a battery of the electric toothbrush. A coupler, which is engaged to the housing, selectively engages a neck of the electric toothbrush so that a handle and a brush head of the electric toothbrush extend toward the upper end of the housing and the base, respectively.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided. The apparatus may include one or more of a container, a first magnet assembly, and a second magnet assembly. The container includes an open top and is configured to hold a liquid chemical solution. The first magnet assembly includes a first magnet having a first polarity and a cover, coupled to the first magnet. The cover is configured to be movable between an open and a closed position and limit evaporation of the solution when the cover is in the closed position. The second magnet assembly includes a second magnet having a second polarity. In response to a command, the second magnet assembly is configured to move the cover to the open position without direct contact to the first magnet assembly in response to a command.

Abstract: The applicator assembly delivers a cosmetic, health, or hygiene chemical composition in an active state to the user for a disposable single use. The applicator assembly includes a wrapper, and an insert. The insert holds the chemical composition, and the insert is made of a foam composition compatible with the chemical composition. The system and method for manufacturing the assembly is a web conversion process for the chemical composition and foam composition of the assembly. The chemical composition can be a cosmetic or other hygiene or medical treatment. The chemical composition includes amorphous silica, a white adhesive agent, a coloring agent, and an aromatic preservative agent.

Abstract: Described herein is a method for shaping keratin fibres including (i) providing a crosslinking composition comprising from about 1% to about 20% of a dialdehyde compound, optionally a photocatalyst, and a cosmetically acceptable carrier; (ii) applying the crosslinking composition to keratin fibres; and (iii) mechanically shaping the keratin fibres with an appliance at a temperature of about 50° C. to about 280° C.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hair bleaching process for improved and milder bleaching, especially for bleaching human hair. The ready-to-use bleaching composition comprises carboxylic acids in addition to bleaching persalts and oxidizing agents added at the time of use.

Abstract: A tool repair system that aids in the repair of malfunctioned inner tool components. The system includes a package having a fully assembled component disposed on top of a component locating structure and held in place by one or more retainers. After removing the malfunctioned component, the tool can be lowered onto the component locating structure, thereby pushing the retainers off the fully assembled component and coupling the fully assembled component to the tool via an opening in the tool. Repairing the tool is therefore quick, easy, and does not require extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the tool.

The first and second body portions are joined proximate opposing sides thereof to define an interior of the container and a mouth to the interior. The container has a flat configuration with the first and second body portions in a generally planar condition and an expanded configuration with the first and second body portions in a contoured condition. First side flaps extending from the opposing sides of the first body portion are folded inwardly into the interior of the container. At least one of the first side flaps has an engagement feature disposed thereon disposed to engage the opposing first side flap when the container is the expanded configuration to form an interior dividing wall within the interior of the container. A unitary blank for forming a food container is also provided.

Abstract: A wipe container that includes a cover member that has a cavity, at least one wipe received in the cavity of the cover member, a base member that has a fluid reservoir, and a partition that is disposed between the cover and base members. The cover member, the base member, and the partition are sealed together to create a perimeter seal. The partition creates a barrier between the wipe on one side and cleaner on the other side. The container can be introduced into a clean room. Just prior to use, the partition is split open so that the cleaner mixes with water on the wipes.

Abstract: Disclosed is a medication carrying case having a modular interior and a deployable tray work surface. The case structure is provided in several different sizes and designs, whereby medication and other articles are supported by removably attached organizational leaflets attached along the interior surfaces of the case. Each leaflet comprises a number of different pouches or organizational elements for supporting medication and accessory items. The deployable tray attaches along the exterior of the case and provides a clean work surface for organizing and preparing medication prior to use. For temperature sensitive medication, a cooling chamber is provided within the leaflet and behind a pouch to cool the pouch contents. Furthermore, an internal temperature sensing means and a timer element is provided to monitor the interior environment of the case and provide a means of notification for the user for administration of medication, respectively.

Abstract: In one example, we describe a device for an efficient and compact rack system for knives and other kitchenware. This stylish design integrates: One or more (e.g., three) grinders, a cutting/chopping board, a tray, and a complete full size knife rack, as an example. All these kitchen tools are specifically designed to fit in the same space that a full-size knife rack normally takes. Many different variations are shown here, as well.

Abstract: A device for cleaning debris from a target surface. The device has a handle for gripping by a user, a hole in the handle which removably receives a replaceable container of cleaning solution and a flat surface which removably receives a cleaning pad. This device may be extruded from a monolithic piece of material, cut to length. The resulting device is unitary, inexpensive and durable. The pad/cleaning solution may be replaced when depleted and replaced with a new pad/cleaning solution or may simply be replaced with a new pad/cleaning solution as may be more suitable for a particular cleaning task. The device may be foam, which provides for an inexpensive construction material and convenient, ergonomic gripping.

The contact lens case includes a left and a right bowl section in an upper portion of a case body for storing a pair of contact lenses, and two lens data stowage compartments in a lower portion of the case body. Each of the bowl section has a closed bottom and an open top detachably closed by a closure cap. Each lens data stowage compartment is positioned underneath one bowl section, and is assessable from a side or a lower base of the contact lens case. The height of the compartments is proportioned for receipt of a lens data sheet having thereon lens data corresponding to a contact lens located in the bowl section thereabove. The lens data stowed in each compartment can be viewed or accessed from the contact lens case.

Abstract: A hair treatment composition, particularly a hair colouring and/or bleaching composition, comprising an oxidizing agent, an alkalizing agent selected from the group consisting of ammonia, its salts and mixtures thereof, one or more fatty alcohol(s), one or more non-ionic surfactant(s) and a specific fatty compound. It is also provided a kit, method and use thereof. Superior hair treatment performance, particularly superior colouring and bleaching performance, with a reduced or an eliminated smell of said alkalizing agent upon application, is achieved.

Abstract: Compositions, kits, and methods for rebuilding the disulfide bonds in hair that is damaged due to a hair coloring treatment are disclosed. The compositions contain one or more compounds that covalently crosslink at least two thiol groups in the hair. The compositions may be applied subsequent to a hair coloring treatment or simultaneously with a hair coloring treatment. Under normal hair washing conditions, the covalent crosslinks formed are not succeptable to reduction or hydrolysis. Use of the crosslinking compositions prevent the reversion of the hair's disulfide bonds to its reduced state, for at least one week, preferably at least three months, more preferably at least one year, most preferably at least greater than one year, after at least one application of the composition.

Abstract: The present invention provides method of attaching a hair extension to a subject, the hair extension including a plurality of hairs attached to a base with an aperture through the base, the method including: i) selecting a first bundle of the subject's hair; ii) passing the first bundle of the subject's hair through the aperture; iii) selecting a second bundle of the subject's hair; and iv) clamping the first bundle of subject's hair to the second bundle of subject's hair with a clamp; wherein the clamped first and second bundles form a closed loop which retains the hair extension in place. The liposoluble UV filter is preferably in the second composition. The first composition is a make-up foundation or skincare base. The second composition is advantageously a loose or compact powder.

When the housing is in the open configuration, the godet receptacle is movable between a locked configuration, in which removal of the godet from the godet receptacle is prevented, and a release configuration, in which removal of the godet from the godet receptacle is permitted. When the housing is in the closed configuration, the godet receptacle is in the locked configuration.

Abstract: Processes for lightening keratinic fibers are provided. In an exemplary process a ready-to-use lightening composition is produced by, immediately prior to application, combining a composition (A) comprising an alkalizing agent, a composition (B) comprising an oxidizing agent, and a composition (C) comprising a peroxo salt, and then mixing. The ready-to-use lightening composition is deployed from a foam dispensing vessel and distributed onto the fibers. The ready-to-use lightening composition is left on the fibers for a period of about 1 to about 60 min. and is washed out of the fibers.

Abstract: There is presented a compact housing which is suitable for assembly with a godet containing a cosmetic product so as to provide a compact cosmetic container. The housing comprises a removable protection layer adapted to cover the cosmetic product of the received godet. The protection layer is releasably attached to the housing so that the removable layer can be detached from the housing by a user.

Abstract: A process for treating keratin fibres may include applying a hair treatment composition to the keratin fibres. The composition may comprise at least one of fatty substances, surfactants, polymers with a glass transition temperature (Tg) ranging from about 40° C. to about 150° C., oxidation dye precursors, and direct dyes. The process may also include inserting the keratin fibres into a device comprising two elements that are moveable relative to each other between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the two elements may define a substantially leaktight closed space. The process may further include moving the two elements into the closed position to confine the keratin fibres in the closed space, and heating the keratin fibres to a temperature ranging from about 40° C. to about 250° C. while the keratin fibres are confined in the closed space.

Abstract: A cosmetic applicator for highlighting or imparting color to a user's hair includes upper and lower halves attached together by a hinge. Each half includes a rigid outer cap and a flexible connector surrounding and connecting the outer cap to a perimeter of the respective half. The cosmetic applicator further includes an applicator pad arranged in an interior of one of the upper and lower halves and a coloring material arranged in an interior of the other of the upper and lower halves. The flexible connector permits the outer caps of the respective upper and lower halves to be pressed inwardly toward one another so as to bring the applicator pad and the coloring material into engagement with one another.

Abstract: A magnetic closure includes a stationary first permanent magnet in a first housing member, a second movable permanent in a second housing member, and a stationary either ferromagnetic material or third permanent magnet in the first housing member.
