Each of the sponges may be coupled to the mask in a predetermined location. Each of the one or more sponges may be configured to be impregnated with a liquid make-up solution.

Abstract: An improved system and method for an eye patch can comprise a patch and a pad. The patch can be substantially flat and flexible. Furthermore, the patch can comprise a bottom surface, a top surface, and a concave edge. The bottom surface can comprise an adhesive capable of temporarily attaching to a skin. The concave edge can be on one side of the patch. Additionally, the concave edge can substantially match the anatomical curve of a human's eye socket. The pad can be a raised portion on the patch that can be capable of pushing upper natural eyelashes upward when a client closes her eyes. The pad can be attachable along the concave edge.

Abstract: Methods of immobilizing the head of a patient include heating a thermoplastic mask preform to a formable temperature, forming the thermoplastic mask over at least a mouth of the patient, and pushing a mouth receiving end of a bite piece into a portion of the thermoplastic mask preform that is positioned over the mouth of the patient, which moves the portion of the thermoplastic mask preform into the mouth of the patient. The methods also include allowing the thermoplastic mask preform to cool from the formable temperature, causing the portion of the thermoplastic mask moved into the mouth of the patient to harden.

Abstract: Disclosed is a nasal breathing training tape adapted to impart training to a user to breathe from the nasal, and not from the mouth, during sleep time or wake-up time. The nasal breathing training tape includes a stretchable strip, an adhesive layer, and a cutout portion. The stretchable strip includes a first surface, and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The stretchable strip is stretchable to create tension therein. The adhesive layer may be applied to the second layer of the stretchable strip. The cutout portion is configured on the stretchable strip along a substantially central location of the stretchable strip. The stretchable strip is stretched up to a size to be accommodated and stick around a lip portion, surrounding the mouth but not touching the lip portion, of the user, such that the lip portion held together by the tension created in the stretchable strip.

A nosepiece and knobs are adjusted such that a lower end of a guide rod may be rotated about various points relative to the nose and held in predetermined angles relative to the nose and eyes, possibly supported magnetically on a lower track adjacent the nostrils and an upper track above the eyebrows. Each stencil may be adapted to accommodate not only different eyebrows of different sizes, but also to adjust the eyebrow's ideal Golden Ratio “High Point” to complement facial proportions (preferably represented by a single Facial Ratio Value or “FRV”) that deviate from an ideal Golden Ratio.

Abstract: A device for applying first and second makeup material to a skin surface as well as a method for applying a first and second makeup material using a device is provided in accordance with the disclosure. The device includes a template body and an absorbent backing attached to the rear side of the template body. The backing is compressible and dimensioned to conform to the contours of a skin surface, such as the area below the eye and proximate the cheek. The template body includes an upper edge which, when contacted with the skin surface, screens adjacent skin surfaces areas. A first makeup material may then be applied above the upper edge while a second makeup material is released to the skin area below the upper edge as the backing is pressed against the skin surface. The template may then be removed and the first and second makeup materials may then be blended together to create a desired ornamental effect.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a template for the application of permanent and conventional eyebrow make-up. The template has a passage formed in the shape of a human eyebrow, and has either adhesive coating on one side to hold to the forehead or uses an elastic band to mount. The panel and areas of the skin adjacent to the panel are exposed to light which may be natural or artificial sunlight until the areas of the skin adjacent to the panel have been tanned by the light. The panel is removed from the skin to expose an area of the skin not tanned by the light.

Abstract: The pre-designed face-painting system consists of a protective mask, the pre-designed face painting, and a transparent film. The pre-designed face painting comprises a layer of ink that is mixed with an adhesive to apply the design to the face upon the application of pressure from the protective mask. The system requires removal of the transparent film, alignment of the mask, pressing the face painting onto the face, and removal of the protective mask. The face painting is easily removed after rinsing the face with soap and water.

Abstract: A makeup-assisting patch having a layer structure that a pressure sensitive adhesive layer is provided on one surface of a base layer, wherein (1) the base layer is a layer of a polyurethane elastomer having a glass transition temperature of 0° C. or lower, (2) the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive layer composed of a copolymer containing at least one monomer unit selected from the group consisting of an alkyl acrylate and an alkyl methacrylate each having an alkyl group having 8 to 12 carbon atoms in a proportion of 70% by weight or more, and (3) the thickness of the base layer is 1 to 10 ?m, the thickness of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is 1 to 15 ?m, and the total thickness of these both layers is 2 to 20 ?m.

Abstract: A brow tool comprises a first extending arm. The first extending arm has a first gear at a base portion. A first straight edge is defined on an inside portion of the first extending arm. The first straight edge is offset in a latitudinal direction in the amount of one half of a gap distance, to provide a latitudinal offset. A second extending arm has a second gear at a base portion. A second straight edge is defined on an inside portion of the second extending arm. The second straight edge is offset in a latitudinal direction to provide a latitudinal offset in the amount of one half of a gap distance. A housing connects the first gear to the second gear so that the first gear is in meshed configuration with the second gear.

Abstract: A makeup shield comprising a pliant sheet sufficiently flexible to overlay selected contoured portions of the human body, e.g. around the eyes, and having at least one edge shaped to conform to an important feature of the body portion, e.g. having a concave arcuate edge to closely follow the edge of the eye. The shaped edge allows careful positioning and covering selected areas without contact to areas to be avoided. The makeup shield may be held in place with an adhesive disposed on the shield at the arcuate edge or recessed slightly to permit a protective cover without the presence of the adhesive to change the makeup to be protected. Thus, the present invention will allow the user to avoid tugging at delicate under eye area to remove unwanted makeup and smearing, and frees up the user's hand from holding tissues under the eyes to catch makeup powders and the flaking of makeup.
