Patent number: 7222629Abstract: When securing eyelashes to a user's eyelid the procedure is greatly simplified and facilitated if the beautician applying the eyelash has both hands free when applying adhesive glue to an eyelash and then placing the eyelash on the user's eyelid. Rather than having an eyelash holder platform of eyelashes standing free on a work table the task is greatly simplified and made much easier if the eyelash holder platform is kept handy and easily accessible to the beautician by temporarily attaching the eyelash holder platform to the back of the beauticians hand. Accordingly an apparatus for securing an eyelash holder platform to a back of a beautician's hand which has a finger ring, which is removably attachable to an eyelash holder platform, and is to be worn on a beautician's finger so as to maintain the location of the platform in the proximity of the back of the beautician's hand.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2004Date of Patent: May 29, 2007Inventor: Yongho Han

Patent number: 5078160Abstract: Device for make-up by transfer of colored substances to the skin from a relatively soft support applied to the skin and removed after transfer, characterized in that said support (1) is in cut-out form, that the pigments or colored powder type lacquers of the cosmetic type are deposited thereon in order to form a pigmented area (regions 2 to 7) having the contour of a predetermined region of the skin, with a distribution of the various colored substances and of their density in said zone which are such as to produce the effect of the final make-up, the adherence of the pigments to one another and to the support being, in the surface layer, weaker than their adherence to the skin so that their transfer to the skin is effected by simple application of the support to the section of skin to be made up.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 1989Date of Patent: January 7, 1992Inventor: Isabelle Carbonnier

Patent number: 5052418Abstract: A tattooing device for producing a temporary predetermined image on the human skin by the action of skin tanning rays comprises a template having a laminated structure which comprises a flexible first layer and a removable second layer. A central opening which is defined in the laminated structure of the template has an outline which corresponds to the image. A first surface of the first layer is provided with an adhesive with the second layer being removably mounted to this first surface. Upon removal of the second layer from the first layer, the latter is applied on the skin at a desired location. A sun block is then distributed on the skin within the central opening. Removal of the first layer from the skin leaves sun block thereon which corresponds to the desired image. Once the skin has been exposed to tanning rays, the sun block is washed away from the skin thereby revealing a skin tattoo.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 1990Date of Patent: October 1, 1991Assignee: Idea Folio Concept Developement GroupInventor: David J.
