Abstract: A three dimensional article and corresponding kit containing such an article exhibiting an upper accessible slot communicating with a three dimensional interior recess for receiving a likewise configured arcuate inserting portion of a circular saw blade. A volume of a cleaning solution is deposited upon interior surfaces of the article exposed to the interior recess and, upon insertion of the blade, the cleaning solution acts to remove sap and other build up contaminants typically associated with certain varieties of natural wood. The lengthwise extending surface configuration of the recess is further such that it exerts an inwardly opposing/biasing force to the inserted circular blade, this serving to retain the blade in place and further as it is slowly rotated throughout a 360° cycle to evenly clean all the perimeter extending teeth. Cleaning brushes and brush keys are also provided in the kit for assisting in cleaning the individual teeth.

  • Patent number: 8152933
Abstract: A substrate processing apparatus includes a substrate holding member configured to rotate along with a wafer (W) held thereon and a drain cup (51) configured to surround the wafer (W). A cleaning process is performed by rotating the wafer (W) while supplying a process liquid onto the wafer (W), and then a rinsing process is performed by rotating the wafer (W) in a similar way while supplying a rinsing liquid onto the wafer (W). The rinsing process is performed by first adjusting a rotational speed of the wafer (W) to be the same as the rotational speed used in the cleaning process while supplying the rinsing liquid, and then raising a liquid level of the rinsing liquid inside the drain cup (51) by decreasing the rotational speed of the wafer (W) or increasing a flow rate of the rinsing liquid, and raising a reach position of the rinsing liquid on the outer sidewall of the drain cup (51) by increasing the rotational speed of the wafer (W).

Abstract: Tool for treating microelectronic workpieces with one or more treatment materials, including liquids, gases, fluidized solids, dispersions, combinations of these, and the like. The invention provides an approach for rapid, efficient rinsing of wetted surface(s), and is particularly advantageous when used to rinse the lower surface of moveable barrier structures such as a barrier plate that overlies a workpiece being treated in such a manner to define a tapering flow channel over the workpiece. Rather than spray rinsing liquid onto the surface in a manner that generates undue splashing, droplet, or mist generation, the liquid is flowingly dispensed, preferably under laminar flow conditions, onto a surface that is in fluid communication with the surface to be rinsed. A smooth, uniform wetting and sheeting action results to accomplish rinsing with a significantly reduced risk of generating particle contamination.

Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide an effective technique for detecting the quality of water with high accuracy. A representative water treatment apparatus includes an aerobic treatment region that treats water aerobically, a downstream region in which the water aerobically treated in the aerobic treatment region flows, a water quality sensor that is submerged in the downstream region and detects the water quality and a sensor washing arrangement that washes the water quality sensor by supplying the water of the downstream region to the water quality sensor at a flow rate higher than water flowing around the water quality sensor. As a result, sludge generated due to aerobic treatment can be prevented from being deposited on the water quality sensor and/or deposited sludge can be removed, so that the accuracy of water quality detection of the water quality sensor can be enhanced.

Abstract: A coating apparatus and an operating method thereof that prevent damage to the nozzle of a spinless coater from impurities on a substrate during resin coating of the substrate, and impurities remaining on a stage at the bottom of the substrate. The coating apparatus comprises a stage, a nozzle, a nozzle cleaner, and a stage cleaner. A substrate is placed upon the stage. The nozzle discharges resin on the substrate to perform coating. The nozzle cleaner cleans the nozzle. The stage cleaner cleans the stage. The operating method includes removing a coated first substrate from atop a stage, cleaning the stage using a stage cleaner, introducing a second substrate to be coated onto the cleaned stage, and discharging resin through a nozzle onto the second substrate and coating the second substrate.

Abstract: An endoscope cleaner includes a cleaning chamber for containing an endoscope. A vibration plate is disposed in a lower portion of the cleaning chamber. A basket portion is disposed substantially at a center of the vibration plate, for containing small parts removed from the endoscope. A nozzle opening supplies cleaning fluid into the cleaning chamber through the basket portion. Plural ultrasonic vibrators include at least one disposed under the basket portion, for vibrating the vibration plate. Furthermore, a drain port drains the cleaning fluid. A circulation line circulates the cleaning fluid from the cleaning chamber by use of the nozzle opening and the drain port. A disinfectant nozzle ejects disinfectant to disinfect the endoscope and the small parts. The basket portion has an upwards open shape, and prevents the small parts from scattering in vibration. The small parts are plural button parts or cap parts.

Abstract: A method for controlling a program-controlled water-bearing domestic cleaning appliance, especially a washing machine, which comprises a program control device that controls a water supply and outlet device, a heater and/or a drive device. For the purpose of cleaning, the structural components that come into contact with water during proper operation of the device, the so-called self-cleaning, the program control device controls water supply, discharge, water level, the speed of the driving motor and/or the duration of the drive control within at least one program section and/or the duration of at least one program section in such a manner that all structural components to be cleaned are wetted with water or the cleaning solution. This kind of self-cleaning should especially be carried out when the domestic cleaning appliance is put into operation for the first time. The invention is further characterized in that the program control device automatically recognizes the initial putting into operation.

Abstract: Printing apparatus (10) comprises support means to support a roll (14) (specifically a fabric) to be printed on. The fabric inevitably has loose material and such parts will reduce the quality of the final print on the surface. Three parts may include lint and dirt. Surface cleaning apparatus (30) locates upstream of the printing means (10) and comprises an adhesive or tacky surface (32) of a roller (31). The adhesive surface collects the loose lint particles but this inevitably reduces the effectiveness of the adhesive surface. Accordingly, the cleaning apparatus (30) comprise adhesive surface cleaning means to continually clean the adhesive surface. This means that the printing process is continual and there is no need to stop the printing process.
