Foreign Material Separated From Liquid Patents (Class 134/104.4)
  • Patent number: 11914084
Abstract: For determining whether oil waste at a field testing site is exempt from selected naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) waste regulations, a measurement apparatus including a detection module that determine radioactivity counts per minute for an oil waste sample is utilized. The measurement apparatus includes an analysis module that uses a first nonlinear transfer function to determine a mass for the oil waste based on a volume of solids determined via BS&W testing. The analysis module uses a second nonlinear transfer function to determine a maximum radioactivity level for the sample which is then normalized to picoCuries/g. The normalized maximum radioactivity level per gram is compared to a NORM exemption level for a selected region and communicated to entities at the field-testing site and optionally to other entities. A system and a method perform the functions of the measurement apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11744427
Abstract: A floor cleaning machine is provided. The floor cleaning machine includes a solution tank for a cleaning solution. A pre-canister sensor receives the cleaning solution and measures the concentration of any dissolved solids. A canister assembly receives a portion of the cleaning solution from the pre-canister sensor and dissolves portions of a solid chemical form into the cleaning solution thereby forming blended droplets. The canister assembly has a spray nozzle positioned vertically above the solid chemical form. A post-canister sensor receives a mixture of the cleaning solution from the pre-canister sensor and the blended droplets from the canister assembly. The post-canister sensor measures the concentration of any dissolved solids within the mixture of the cleaning solution from the pre-canister sensor and the blended droplets from the canister assembly. A comparison of the baseline and post-canister measurements outside of a desired range results in replacement of the solid chemical form.

  • Patent number: 8931495
Abstract: Systems and methods for recovering particulate matter washed from piece of construction equipment with water. Waste materials washed from the construction equipment are collected in a bin. The liquid in the bin is allowed to drain into a receptacle having a sloped bottom for conveying the liquid to a sump. The liquid in the sump is pumped to a first baffle box extending into a first settlement tank to remove a portion of the particulate matter in the liquid. The liquid cascades from the first settlement tank to a second baffle box extending into a second settlement tank to remove another portion of the particulate matter. The liquid is stored after removal of the portions of the particulate matter for recycling in a tank.

Abstract: A dishwasher has a wash system with a nozzle system with at least one wash nozzle for spraying wash liquid, a wash tank, and a wash pump by means of which wash liquid collected in the wash tank is fed to the at least one wash nozzle. A dirt-collecting system has at least one tank-covering screen to separate off particles of dirt from the wash liquid. The dirt-collecting system also has a dirt-collecting region arranged in the wash system and is intended for collecting the particles of dirt which have been separated off from the wash liquid with the aid of the tank-covering screen, wherein the dirt-collecting region is open at the top, but closed all the way around the sides, and wherein there is also a dirt-discharging pipe system by means of which the particles of dirt collected in the dirt-collecting region are discharged from the wash system.

  • Patent number: 8845815
Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid processing apparatus including first and second cups installed so as to surround a rotation holding unit of a substrate and guide a processing liquid scattered from the rotating substrate downwards. A first driving unit and a second driving unit elevate the first cup and the second cup between a position receiving the processing liquid and the lower position thereof. A controller controls that the first cup and the second cup are ascended at the same time by transferring the driving force of the first driving unit while the first cup or a first elevating member thereof is overlapped with the second cup or a second elevating member thereof from the lower side by setting the ascending speed of the first cup to be higher than the ascending speed of the second cup when the first and second cups are ascended at the same time.

Abstract: A foreign matter removal device 10 preliminary cleans the work 50 in a bucket 12 housed in an input tank 15, then further cleans the work 50 in buckets 13, 14 housed in cleaning tanks 16, 17 by agitating cleaning liquid while inverting the buckets to transfer the work to a subsequent bucket. Particularly, the bottom of the cleaning tank is formed such that the nearer to a center of the bottom, the deeper the bottom becomes. The cleaning liquid overflowing from the cleaning tanks are stored in auxiliary tanks 22, 23. First and second ejection units 29a, 29b are arranged at different heights in the cleaning tank to generate a circulating flow in the cleaning liquid.

Abstract: A dishwashing machine includes a housing in fluid communication with a washing chamber and a filter positioned in the housing that is operable to rotate about a longitudinal axis. A flow diverter is positioned within the inner chamber at a location between the housing and the rotary filter and is spaced apart from the rotary filter so as to create a gap. During rotation of the filter, the angular velocity of fluid advanced through the gap is increased relative to the angular velocity of the fluid prior to entering the gap.
