Abstract: An umbrella is provided that includes a canopy, a pole and a rotation assembly is provided. The pole extends along a longitudinal axis and has a rotatable portion coupled with the canopy and a lower portion to which the rotatable portion is rotatably coupled at a connection location. A lower end of the rotatable portion is disposed within an upper end of the lower portion. A rotation assembly configured to rotate the rotatable portion of the pole is provided. The rotation assembly has a hand grip and a drive ring disposed around the rotatable portion of the pole. The hand grip applies torque to the drive ring and thereby to the rotatable portion of the pole. The hand grip and the drive ring are configured to move along the longitudinal axis of the pole to disengage a locking assembly to permit rotation of the rotatable portion of the pole relative to the lower portion of the pole.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a cabin, a high voltage traction battery, an electric motor powered by the traction battery, and a charger connected to the traction battery. The charger converts alternating current (AC) to high voltage direct current (DC) to charge the traction battery when the charger is plugged into an alternating current (AC) power supply. A forced air system includes an air inlet duct, a first air outlet duct directing exhaust air to the outside of the cabin, a second air outlet duct directing exhaust air to the inside of the cabin, a fan, and a valve for controlling air flow through the first and second air outlet ducts. The forced air system is arranged such that forced air flows through the air inlet duct, removes heat from the charger, and flows through at least one of the first and second air outlet ducts to assist with vehicle preconditioning.

Abstract: An outdoor umbrella includes an operation device including a ring-shaped slider joint slidably connected to a shaft of the outdoor umbrella in a vertical movable manner, a locking stopper fitted in a locker hole of the shaft in an inwardly movable manner, a resilient unit for applying an urging pressure against the locking stopper to normally urge and retain the locking stopper extending into the locker hole so as to lock up the slider joint on the shaft, and a handle device for driving the locking stopper in an outwardly movable manner to move away from the locker hole so as to unlock the slider joint from the shaft.

Abstract: An umbrella frame device includes a runner slidably sleeved on a stem for spreading and collapsing a canopy. A retaining member has a retaining end which is movable radially in a slot in the runner and which is extendable inwardly of the runner to slidably contact a slideway on a protuberance disposed on the stem. The retaining end is brought to slip over an upper edge of the protuberance so as to be retained on a shoulder when the runner is moved to an engaging position. A sleeve member surrounds and is movable relative to the runner, and has a cam surface portion which can depress the retaining end radially with a friction force that arrests the runner in the engaging position.

Abstract: A sunshade comprises a main post, a canopy frame, and a tilting and rotating assembly mounted between the main post and the canopy frame. Rotation of a handle on the main post in a direction causes the canopy frame to move from a folded state to an unfolded state. Further rotation of the handle in the same direction causes the canopy frame to tilt, and still further rotation of the handle in the same direction causes the tilted canopy frame to turn relative to a longitudinal axis of the main post until an optimal shield is obtained.

Abstract: The present invention provides an umbrella consisted of a central stick, several ribs, and cover, wherein a fan stand is secured on the central stick, and connected with a motor box in hinge joint, said motor box holds a motor connecting with power, and a fan blade is secured on the axle of the motor. Due to adopting above-mentioned structure, the present invention attaches a mini electric fan to make the umbrella have two functions, as opening the umbrella, and turning on the fan simultaneously, the user not only enjoys shadow of the umbrella, but also feels the cool brought up by the fan.

Abstract: An angle adjusting mechanism for hanging parasols includes a hollow housing member and an anchor means located in the housing member. An adjusting element with a turning member located at a lower end thereof is housed in the housing member for fastening a supporting bracket. The turning member may be turned for a selected displacement in the housing member to change the angle of a hanging parasol relative to the supporting bracket to block sunshine, and a displacement element of the anchor means may be moved to constrict the adjusting element at a selected position to keep the hanging parasol stationary at the selected angle.

Abstract: A sun shade having an elongated member laterally supported from the end of a pole by a universal joint permitting rotational and angular movement of the member with respect to the longitudinal axis of the pole itself. The pole includes a telescoping arrangement whereby the pole can be lengthened or shortened at the discretion of the user. The end of the pole opposite to its end carrying the member includes a universal mount connected to a firm anchor or support by a suitable clamp.

Abstract: An improved four-section umbrella framework is provided. The framework includes an attachable flexible frame member having a small slot in the main frame member of the umbrella framework. A connector is positioned inside the main frame member such that the latch ring of the connector protrudes through the small slot on the main frame member and provides for the simple attachment of a hook formed at the end of a flexible frame member to form a secure and practical hook joint.

Abstract: In the case of an umbrella, in particular a stand umbrella, sunshade, garden umbrella and the like, having a framework, a roof construction and an umbrella roof, in which the roof rods (5) are articulated on a pole part (2), which is displaceable telescopically in relation to the stand tube (1) and bears a crown (3), and displaceable along the stand tube (1) is a runner (4), on which supporting struts (6) articulated on the roof rods (5) act in a jointed manner, crown (3) and runner (4) moving oppositely upon opening and closing of the umbrella, for simpler opening of the umbrella and tensioning of the umbrella roof there is provided an auxiliary strut (8), which is jointedly arranged above the runner (4) between umbrella pole (1) and at least one roof rod (5), and the runner (4) is provided with a locking device (12), by which said runner can be arrested in its upper position and the umbrella roof can be tensioned.

Abstract: The umbrella comprises a cover (17) supported by a framework comprising a central truncated mast (15) mounted at the end of a radial arm (7) hinged to a fixed support structure. The ribs are hinged to a fixed hub (14) mounted on the central mast (15) and the counter ribs are hinged to a hub (11) sliding on the mast. A rib (8) is interlocked with the radial arm (7).
