Abstract: A hunting blind is made of lightweight material allowing the hunting blind to be collapsed and folded or rolled into a compact configuration. The compact configuration allows the easy storage and transportation of the hunting blind. The hunting blind may easily be carried by one person to any desired location and temporarily set up. In this manner, the hunter can place the blind anywhere, rather than building a blind of more permanent material, such as wood, but then being restricted to the one location where the blind is built. Cords attached to two sides of the blind create tension in the blind, causing flexible rods at the top of the side to bend into an arcuate shape. The rods then create an arched roof, providing increased head room in the blind and preventing accumulation of debris and rain water on the roof.

  • Patent number: 7210728
Abstract: A vented transport cover is disclosed for use in protecting vehicles, cargo and other objects during transport. The vented transport cover includes at least one venting member secured within the cover. Each venting member includes a downwardly extending, recessed body portion having an exhaust aperture oriented at the front of the venting member. The venting member includes an upwardly extending air diffuser that disrupts the oncoming stream of air during transport of the object. The air diffuser stabilizes the vent by preventing the vent from flapping during travel. Due to the recessed nature of the exhaust aperture, the air pressure at the exhaust aperture is less than that of the high speed airstream passing over the covered object. Negative pressure at the exhaust aperture induces exhaustion of air from within the cover and causes the cover to conform closely to the surface of the covered object.

  • Patent number: 7191788
Abstract: A tent having window shelf that extends into a tent from the bottom of a window opening. The shelf may be formed, for example, by an inner covering of the window. The inner covering may include an outer support such as a pole so that it may maintain its configuration when folded down, and a fabric strip or other structure for maintaining the inner covering in a horizontal position so that it may serve as a shelf. A clasp or a plurality of clasps may be provided for attaching an inner covering of a tent window and permitting the inner covering to drape over the opening for the window without completely closing the opening.

  • Patent number: 6858054
Abstract: A fan assembly (14) for ventilating an essentially closed chamber such as an inflatable storage chamber for a motor vehicle comprises a base plate (17) for mounting over an opening through a wall (13) of the chamber, the base plate defining an aperture (21) therethrough and an electrically-driven fan (28) being arranged to draw air from a first plenum (31) upstream of the fan and drive the drawn air into the chamber. An air treatment unit (25) is disposed over an opening through the base plate between the chamber and the first plenum (31). A first filter (22) is disposed in an opening between the first plenum (31) and the external atmosphere (35). In this way, air driven into the chamber by the fan (28) will be a mixture of air drawn from the external atmosphere through the first filter (22) and air drawn from the chamber through the air treatment unit (25) into the first plenum (31), to be recirculated into the chamber.
