The tent has one or more openings in the roof and/or side walls of the tent, and a hatch pivotally attached to the tent. The hatch in one position covers an opening in the roof and/or side wall, and a mesh or fabric structure extends in an accordion-like manner between the hatch and edges of the opening. A plurality of ribs support the mesh or fabric, the ribs being pivotally attached to the tent supporting structure. When the hatch is in its open position, the internal volume of the tent is increased, with the mesh or fabric attached to the hatch and the edges of the opening providing a barrier over the opening against the environment.

Abstract: A modular tent frame system includes a number of folding frame elements which permit the shelter to be rapidly deployed in extreme environmental conditions. Telescopically sliding legs permit the tent frame to be unfolded, and the tent fabric attached to the frame, which the frame is on the ground and the tent can then be raised by sliding the outer leg elements up the inner leg elements to thereby raise the tent to the desired height, even in high winds.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a tent shelter that is adapted for various uses, designs configurations and combinations, along with riggings and accessories. It includes a flat material for its main body having anchor points along its peripheral edges. An anchor apparatus (including a hole) can be coupled at the anchor points. It also includes anchor apparatuses used to couple the tent shelter to another tent shelter, tent shelter accessories or a fixed object using a paracord or other materials. It also includes different ridged, hinge and awning assemblies to support the tent. The assemblies can anchor, manipulate, adjust and support the tent. An awning assembly coupled to the pole rigging system can be coupled to a tent shelter when laid flat. A hinged rigging system can be adjusted and supported so that the tent can be manipulated into desirable shapes including a shape that folds into a container.

Abstract: A field pack having a blind assembly that includes a tract assembly; a blind, preferably a left blind and a right blind, that extends from the field pack and retracts back into the field pack using the tract assembly; a blind cartridge placed within a body of the field pack housing the blind, the blind cartridge comprising a blind wing roll; and a support rod that supports the blind once the blind has been extended into its desired position. The field pack may additionally include a hood assembly to store a hood and allow the hood to be deployed from the field pack. Any of the blind, the hood, and the seat may be detachable from the field pack.

Abstract: A portable, collapsible canopy for use with a diaper changing pad, wherein the canopy comprises a frame structure having a plurality of rigid members adjoined by a plurality of pivotable joints, with at least one of the pivotable joints being spring-biased. The canopy further comprises a plurality of wall portions coupled to the frame structure, wherein the wall portions are formed of a lightweight, flexible material. The canopy also comprises a bottom section in which the changing pad is placed upon. The frame structure is configured to be held normally open by the spring-biased joints, and the frame structure and wall portions are manually collapsible so as to enable the canopy to be folded into a compact state suitable for storage in a diaper bag. A combination diaper bag and diaper changing canopy are also disclosed.

The ground mat connects at its corners to several lightweight spars which once assembled define an arcuate skeletal frame above the ground mat. A tent fabric may then be supported on the skeletal frame. The spars and optional tethers hold the skeletal frame in shape by tension. The spars are knock-down, comprising manually connectable and separable sections which when disassembled fit into the backpack.

The preferred embodiment is of non see through, water resistant, translucent textile, partially insulated, trapezoidal in shape, having a triangular shaped flexible rubber pedestal and foam rubber changing matt. The textile is open at the top with a draw cord insulated hood, and forms an enclosure resting upon a user's shoulders, and is entered through a zippered opening running vertically down the front. Openings on either side of the enclosure are covered by wind flaps open on one side secured by hook and loop fastener.

In general, the device comprises a partially collapsible mainframe, a seat, a back angle support, and a camouflage cover. The device comprises a partially collapsible mainframe having a first pair of vertical supporting tubes, preferably constructed of aluminum tubing. The first pair of vertical supporting tubes may further contain a second pair of vertical tubes inside which can be pulled out for supporting the camouflage cover. The seat is rotatable and can be rotated from the originally vertical position to a horizontally operational position. Shoulder straps are provided for the hunter to carry the device. The device is lightweight, compact, easy to carry, assemble and disassemble.

Abstract: A method of applying weights to the legs of instant pop-up canopies and the like is disclosed. The weights help prevent uplift under windy conditions. Each weight case is comprised of two half-round hollow cases. The case halves are joined by hinges on one edge and latches on the opposite edge. Each case half has a full length inner V-groove, which when closed, create a throughbore for the canopy legs. Each case half top is fitted with a filler hole and cap. The hollow cases can be filled with a variety of weight material. The weighted case is wrapped around the lower leg of the canopy and latched shut to secure the weight around the canopy leg. The weight case rests on the flanged footplate of each leg. Four to six weight cases are required for each application.

Abstract: A portable painting apparatus comprises a combination of a portable paint booth for holding an object to be painted, removable handles for moving objects coated with wet paint, an optional drying rack for wet painted objects, and accessory hangers adapted for suspending objects inside the portable paint booth or from the drying rack. The portable paint booth includes a support frame with a rotatable hub assembly for painting all sides of an object and a replaceable tent for providing a paint overspray and splatter barrier. The tent may optionally include exhaust ports for withdrawing paint vapor and airborne paint droplets from within the tent. The support frame, removable handles, and drying rack are adapted to hold painted objects coated with wet paint on all sides and edges without damaging the coating of wet paint.

Abstract: A frameless hunting blind and fanny pack (or back pack) are combined. The pack has a belt (or shoulder strap) extending between clips. The pack also has, a case defining a main compartment with a zippered opening. A veil of camouflage material serves as the blind. The veil extends from an upper vertex to hang up high, and from there to an outspread bottom for staking to the ground. The veil has a spreading shape to simulate a root flare of a tree. The vertex is attached to the case of the pack and inside the main compartment. For travel, the veil is stuffed inside the main compartment and shut therein. In the field, the pack is taken off, the veil pulled and spread out, and the belt (or shoulder straps) is (are) belted around a tree trunk to provide the vertex with its high suspension point.

Abstract: A method for spreading a hammock is disclosed. The method may include selecting a hammock comprising a hammock base having a first end, a second end opposite the first end in a longitudinal direction, a first side, and a second side opposite the first side in a lateral direction. The method may further include suspending the first end of the hammock base from a first anchor and suspending the second end of the hammock base from a second anchor. Once suspended, the hammock base may be spread in the lateral direction using exclusively a dynamic spreader system. The dynamic spreader system may automatically adjust the amount of the spreading in response to changes in the weight, shape, or orientation of contents within the hammock base.

The brackets and supports can be used to secure a configuration to a tree, the ground, or a hand held device. Guyline modules allow for sliding panels to be positioned over openings in a configuration. The system can be configured for placement on a hillside or over rough terrain and obstacles.

The chalk bag features a handle located on the interior of the bag and attached to at least one interior wall, which contains chalk. The chalk bag also features a hoop shifter located in a rim portion of the chalk bag, which is a sliding opening and closing mechanism. The parachute tent provides a combination of a parachute and a tent, which is functional as both a parachute and a tent, and once dropped contains all necessary components for the tent with no additional components. The flop clip is a reusable connection mechanism, which utilizes magnets.

The pulley system is connected to the outer frame with an attachment means and is fully enclosed within the vertical pole except for a portion of the attachment means. The attachment means travels up and down within the vertical slot. Each vertical pole comprises a pole cover that is slightly shorter than the vertical slot and moves laterally to expose or conceal the vertical slot.
