Abstract: An improved collapsible frame structure for use on an outdoor sunshade or parasol which is equipped with a minor extension arm coupled to a main runner of a main mast and a main extension arm in pivotal connection to a top retainer of the main mast at one end and to a lower end of a secondary stretching strut at the other end. The main extension arm and the minor extension arm are mutually coupled to each other at their middle points. The secondary stretching strut is further pivotally coupled to an extended pivot end of either the minor runner or the top notch of the sunshade or parasol so as to permit the sunshade to be extended in an easier and smoother manner when the main runner is pushed up or pulled down by a user.

Abstract: A tent detachable means for an instant setup foldable tent is disclosed. In this instant setup foldable tent, while retaining the advantages of the instant setup foldable tent such as speediness and convenience, a tent detachable means is provided, making it possible to attach and detach the tent to and from the tent frame, enabling the user to pitch the tent or the fly selectively or both, thus promoting the usefulness of the tent. The instant setup foldable tent includes a plurality of foldable tent frames secured to a hub, and a tent cloth is coupled to the plurality of the foldable tent frames by a plurality of hooks. The tent includes a tent detachable means attached between a lower portion of the tent cloth and a lower portion of each pole of the foldable tent frames making it possible to attach and detach the test cloth to and from the frames, leaving tent frame untouched; and further includes a pole-securing means provided for the poles to be secure to the ground firmly.

Means is provided for maintaining the support post in a substantially vertical orientation when positioned on or adjacent to a pipeline. A flexible heat resistant covering encloses the umbrella-like framework. The covering is capable of withstanding limited exposure to heat from a welding torch without melting or igniting.

A stopper (20) is mounted to the lower end of the rib holder (14), while a rope connector (22) is integrally formed at the lower end of the rib holder (14) and is used for holding a tension rope extending from the center of the ceiling part of the tent's canopy. A spreader holder (16) is movably fitted over the shank part of the rib holder (14) such that the spreader holder is movable upward and downward along the shank part. The spreader holder (16) rotatably holds the collapsible spreaders (28) while allowing the spreaders to be stretchable in a radial direction when pitching the tent.

A groove is outfitted in the central hollow of the combined pillar to receive the spring clip. The spring stop extends out of the spring outlet and the spring bend stretches out of the retaining hole. The spring stem lies in the groove.

The ribs and the shaft are made of composite material and a reinforcement metal layer is coated on each of the ribs and the shaft.

The inner tube may telescope in the outer tube. The outer tube has holes spaced apart horizontally in a lower portion for compressing members of positioning arms of the fixing cylinder to move in and out. The adjusting cylinder has female threads formed in a lower end, and the fixing cylinder has male threads engaging the female threads after the adjusting cylinder and the fixing cylinder fit around the outer tube. When the adjusting cylinder is screwed tightly around the fixing cylinder, the compressing members of the fixing cylinder moves gradually in the holes of the outer tube and further compress the inner tube tightly to keep the inner tube at an adjusted position relative to the outer tube.

By turning a crank handle, netting is transported from its storage chamber to the edge of the umbrella canopy, where it can be lowered to the ground. The canopeum will then shield those under the umbrella from incursions by agents such as insect pests. Turning the crank in the opposite direction transports the canopeum to its stowed and protected position within the chamber. Canopeum accouterments facilitate attachment, removal, and interchange of canopeums having varied compositions, textures, and surface details.

A connecting rod is connected between the second end of the arcuate tube and the adjusting sleeve. An anchor is provided to be releasably engaged in an anchor room in the elbow to reliably retain the canopy support frame in a desired tilting angle relative to the supporting rod. The arcuate tube and the supporting rod can be folded to further reduce the overall volume of the sunshade.

The umbrella includes: a canopy, where the canopy may be detachably coupled to a frame; and a vent top, wherein the vent top may be detachably coupled to the canopy. In the preferred embodiment, the canopy may be comprised of eight, sixteen, or twenty-four panels. The vent top may be comprised of multiple panels as well. Each of the individual panels of the canopy may have a different color, so that canopies with various patterns are provided. The individual panels of the vent top may be provided in the same manner. In the preferred embodiment, both the canopy and the vent top also comprise a border, which may also be provided with a different color. Thus, by varying the color combinations of the panels of the canopy, the panels of the vent top, and the borders around the canopy and vent top, umbrellas with different patterns are possible.

A pulley system with locking cam member may be employed to allow the umbrella to safely and easily open to any desired level. A locking stabilizer arm may be used to secure the main hub member in the fully open position and a stabilizer base provides strong support to the pole member to help it withstand severe weather conditions. The umbrella is rotatable about the pole axis regardless of the degree to which it is opened.

Abstract: An improved portable blind for hunting, wildlife watching or the like includes an umbrella like mechanism that is used to open and close a concealment web, which preferably is fabricated from a camouflage fabric and has a number of leafy flaps defined therein that will rustle in the wind for an enhanced camouflage effect. Templates are provided to enable a user to create additional cut out areas in the web for weapon access and/or observation purposes. The umbrella like mechanism includes a central shaft that includes structure that enables it to be mounted directly to a weapon such as a gun or a bow. In addition, the concealment web includes supplemental mounting structure for mounting a portion of the web to a second portion of the weapon for purposes of solidity and stability. A method of hunting utilizing the blind is also disclosed.

The flexible net can include windows or portholes.

An erection device for erecting a collapsible tent is also included. The erection device includes an elongated pole and a slide member that can be used to control relative movement of the devises toward and away from one another.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a modified clevis assembly for collapsible tents. The clevis assembly is modified so that it contains a conical pin entry guide on a first clevis member to allow safe directing of the tip of the pin on a second clevis member into the recess of the first clevis member. In the modified clevis assembly the pin is guided into the recess should any torque or twist to the frame occur when the tent is erected due to the inherent flexibility of the materials used in the construction of tent frames and the tendency for the user to inadvertently apply force off of vertical through pressure from the user's hands when moving the lower clevis member toward the upper clevis member. The conical pin entry guide preferably forms an integral part of the under surface of the upper clevis member or of the upper surface of the lower clevis member. The clevis assembly is further optionally modified to include in or on the upper clevis member means to receive a fly adaptor assembly.

Abstract: Fixing structure for large-size sunshade, including a series of chain elements, a locating seat and a locating pin. The series of chain elements are composed of several identically-sized chain elements looped with each other and tied to a middle section of a sunshade pull cord. Two ends of the series of chain elements are respectively connected with an upper cord body and a lower cord body of the pull cord. The locating seat is locked on a lower end of the sunshade stem and has two cantilevers parallel to each other. The two cantilevers define therebetween a split for the chain element to pass therethrough. Each of the cantilevers is formed with a locating notch opposite to the other. The locating pin is a rectangular bar member having a length able to cross two sides of the split. The locating pin has a width corresponding to the width of the locating notch of the locating seat.
