Level Or Pressure Responsive Patents (Class 137/170.2)
  • Patent number: 11498828
Abstract: A float probe configured to regulate fluid flow into a fluid container is disclosed. The float probe comprises an upper assembly having one or more outlets, a plurality of rods extending from the upper assembly to a lower assembly and a float assembly disposed between the upper assembly and the lower assembly. A first distal end of the rods is coupled to the upper assembly and a second distal end of the rods is coupled to the lower assembly. The rods extend along an outer surface of the float assembly and the float assembly is movable along the rods between a first position proximate to the upper assembly and a second position proximate to the lower assembly. The float assembly prevents fluid flow out of the outlets when disposed in the first position.

  • Patent number: 10041758
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly (1) which includes a sealing-diffusing gasket (2) provided with a diffusion opening, intended for being clamped resiliently around the neck (5) of the bottle (3) and for sealing the mouth (7) of the bottle. The assembly also includes a fast portion (8) forming a hand grip, secured to the sealing-diffusing gasket (2), and including first hand-gripping means of the bottle (6) and first nesting means (8). The assembly also comprises a second portion (12) forming a hand grip and provided with second nesting means (12) suitable for nesting with the first nesting means (8) and second hand-gripping means (16) secured to the second nesting means (12). The assembly makes it possible to produce a jet of effervescent liquid of a selected size, duration and distance, by a user agitating the first and/or second hand grip portions (6 and 16) thus nested inside one another.

  • Patent number: 9486594
Abstract: An apparatus for producing gas for use in medical applications. The apparatus includes a compressed gas unit having at least one container of compressed gas and a solenoid valve. An adjustable pressure regulator communicably connected to the gas container, separate and distinct from the solenoid valve, is adjusted to control the pressure of the gas provided from the container to the solenoid valve. An electrical power source is connected to the solenoid valve. A pressure activated electronic switch connected to the power source is responsive to a selected amount of voluntary fingertip, pressure for opening the solenoid valve to transmit the gas therethrough to a conduit, which further transmits the gas to a destination for use or storage.

  • Publication number: 20100282334
Abstract: A flow control device for use in a supply line between a pressurised liquid container and a dispenser for the liquid. The flow control device comprises a chamber having an inlet for receiving liquid from the container and a base section comprising a chamber outlet for supplying liquid to the dispenser. A vent valve is included for venting gas from the chamber. A float valve includes a float section and a seat section and is movable to and from an open position wherein the chamber outlet is open to liquid flow and a closed position wherein the chamber outlet is closed to liquid flow. A float valve opening mechanism is included wherein the float section of the float valve comprises a plurality of protrusions, at least some of which engage the inside of the chamber so as to locate the float valve substantially in line with the chamber outlet. In this way, the float valve can guide itself into the correct position without the need for additional guiding components.

  • Patent number: 6209567
Abstract: A foam trap or FOB for a gas propelled or mechanically pumped liquid dispensing system, having an upper ball stopper valve seat and gas vent port at the top and a lower ball stopper valve seat and liquid outlet port at the bottom, with two floating ball stoppers that are raised and lowered by the level of liquid unless locked into a seated position on a valve seat by pressure. Ball stoppers can be independently mechanically dislodged and constrained from reseating on either valve seat by externally accessible means. The interior geometry inhibits the ball stoppers from competing or blocking access to respective valve seats when liquid is falling or rising. The trap automatically shuts off outflow when liquid is depleted, permitting a container change, opening of the vent port, and purging of gas or air in the trap by refilling the trap with liquid before closing the vent port and reopening the outflow. The trap may be integrated into an automated container switching system for liquid dispensing systems.
