Abstract: A fluid control device or a device for coupling a rotary valve actuator to a rotary valve shaft comprises a housing, a lever, a threaded collet, and first and second stops carried by the housing. The lever comprises a cylindrical member containing the threaded collet. During operation, the first and second stops limit the rotation of the lever between first and second positions, thereby limiting rotation of the valve shaft. During assembly, the device further comprises a third stop that is removably carried by the housing. The third stop engages the lever in the first position simultaneously with the first stop, for example, thereby locking the lever against rotation. With the lever locked, a technician may apply generally any amount of torque to a draw nut disposed on the collet to tighten and/or loosen the collet onto the rotary valve shaft without rotating the lever.
Abstract: The invention proposes a device for attaching an actuator (2) to a housing (4), in particular for an automotive vehicle, the actuator being provided for driving a movable equipment (41) disposed within the housing. The device comprises attaching means for attaching the actuator on the housing. The mounting means comprise two conjugated connection flanges (20, 40), respectively mounted on a connexion face (28) of the actuator (28) and on a connection face (48) of the housing. The connexion flanges are adapted to be assembled according to a male/female type connection at the outside of the housing.
Abstract: A gas-pressure regulator has a body formed with a gas inlet and a gas outlet defined therein, a diaphragm separating the body from the bonnet, a lifting rod extending downward from the diaphragm, a pair of parallel protrusions projecting upward from the inner bottom of the body, a pair of aligned recesses formed on the tops of the protrusions, a pair of threaded holes defined in the tops of the protrusions near the respective recesses, and a pair of screws formed with heads above the protrusions and shanks screwed into the threaded holes. The gas-pressure regulator also includes a control lever having a first end and a second end, with a pair of pins near one end thereof extending integrally and laterally from opposite sides of the control lever. The pins are placed in the recesses of the protrusions and retained therein by the heads of the screws, and the second end of the control lever is connected to the lifting rod.
