Ball Check Patents (Class 137/329.3)
  • Patent number: 9415471
Abstract: A spring compensation structure for a torque wrench includes a body, a compensation component and an engaging head. The body has a first connecting portion. The compensation component is installed on the body and has a compensation distance, wherein one end of the compensation component is abutted on the first connecting portion of the body. The engaging head has a second connecting portion; the second connecting portion is detachably disposed on the body and is abutted on the other end of the compensation component, wherein a distance between the second connecting portion and the first connecting portion is equal to the compensation distance.

  • Patent number: 9242131
Abstract: A gas purging valve is operative to be connected to piping in a Fire Protection System (FPS) and to bleed gas at a predetermined rate. The valve includes an inlet in gas flow relationship with the FPS piping and a central passage in gas flow relationship with the inlet. The valve also includes a calibrated orifice removeably disposed in the central passage, in gas flow relationship with the passage and operative to allow a maximum predetermined gas flow rate therethrough. The valve further includes an outlet in gas flow relationship with the calibrated orifice. A ball is disposed upstream of the central passage. The ball is operative to allow gas flow through the gas purging valve but operative to impede the flow of water through the gas purging valve.

  • Publication number: 20080078451
Abstract: The aim is to devise a gas plug connector that permits a gas plug to be connected or disconnected only when an additional shut-off valve has been manually closed. To that end the housing (1) of the gas plug connector has a bearing (36) for a switching element (35) that on the one hand is fitted with a guide device (37), on which one end of a plunger (11; 12) installed in the base (2) of the housing (1) is supported, whereas the other end of the plunger (11; 12) is connected to a valve head (15) of a shut-off valve (8) positioned in the gas-carrying chamber (7) of the base (2). On the other hand, the switching element (35) is connected to a locking device, by means of which an insertion of the gas plug (57) dependent on the position of the switching element (35) can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 7077157
Abstract: A spring-loaded pressure relief valve, particularly for containers of pressurized fluids, comprising a valve body that is associable with a container and forms a discharge port that is controlled by a main piston; an auxiliary valve is further provided, which controls a venting port and drives the intervention of the main piston, such main piston being accommodated in a cavity that is formed in the valve body and is open in an axial direction on the opposite side with respect to the venting port.

  • Patent number: 7040341
Abstract: It shall be created a gas plug connector that allows a positional adjustment of the same in relation to the outer wall surface and in this way enables compensation of positional setoffs as regards the stationary gas pipe installation. To achieve this, the gas plug connector comprises a casing (1), a shut-off device (2) and a fastening element (3). The tube-shaped nozzle (12) of the shut-off device (2) protrudes in a gas-tight manner into the casing (1) which has in its interior a groove (8) inside which rests a spring holding ring (10). Said holding ring (10) allows the nozzle (12) to slip into the casing (1), but prevents the nozzle (12) from slipping out of the casing (1). The fastening element (3) is on its one side attached to the wall (31) and on its other side to the shut-off device (2).
