Abstract: A champagne tower-type multi-stage throttle control valve includes a valve body, a valve cover, a throttle sleeve, and a valve core. A sleeve cavity of the throttle sleeve is shaped as a stepped hole with two or more layers. The valve core is shaped as a stepped shaft with two or more layers coaxial with the throttle sleeve. The number of shaft shoulders of the valve core is smaller than or equal to the number of hole shoulders of the sleeve cavity of the throttle sleeve, such that each set of shaft shoulders of the valve core in an axial direction can form a sealing surface fit with corresponding hole shoulders of the throttle sleeve. A flow channel groove is axially or obliquely formed on each of the hole shoulders of the throttle sleeve and/or the shaft shoulders of the valve core.

  • Patent number: 11898658
Abstract: A valve housing is configured to maintain temperature of a valve. These configurations may incorporate paths or channels in structure of the valve that carry working fluid. Heating fluid, like steam or hot water, may flow through these paths to heat this structure. This feature can maintain or raise temperature of the working fluid to meet specifications, standards, or process parameters. In one implementation, the paths may have complex routes or geometry with curves, bends, or other feature that can maximize surface area that is available to distribute heat to the device. This geometry may require manufacturing techniques, like additive manufacturing, that can generate unitary or monolithic structures, particularly those structures that includes voids in the material to form the integral paths for the heating fluid.

Abstract: This invention relates to a valve for use in a pipe used for transporting a substance. The valve includes a rotatable disc, a valve seat, and an actuator. The actuator is adapted to rotate the rotatable disc between a closed position, where the rotatable disc is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pipe, and whereby the edges of the rotatable disc are adapted to seal against the valve seat, thus preventing the flow of the substance through the valve, and an open position, wherein the rotatable disc is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pipe, thus allowing for the flow of the substance through the valve. The valve also includes a protective portion adapted to cover at least a portion of the valve seat during the flow of the substance through the valve, when the valve is open.

  • Patent number: 10283245
Abstract: An electromagnetic drive device includes a through-hole, through which a rod is received, and the rod includes an outer wall surface that is slidable relative to the through-hole. A clearance, which is measured from the outer wall surface of the rod placed in a maximum projected position to an inner wall surface of the through-hole, is smaller than a clearance, which is measured from the outer wall surface of the rod placed in a maximum retracted position to the inner wall surface. Therefore, a retracting-time clearance becomes relatively large, and thereby a frictional force between the rod and a support tubular portion can be reduced. Furthermore, a projecting-time clearance becomes relatively small, and thereby the amount of swing of a distal end of the rod in a radial direction can be reduced.
