Pilot Float Released Patents (Class 137/417)
  • Patent number: 8646495
Abstract: A fuel tank for vehicles has a filler tube and a filling level limiting device, with the filler tube comprising, in the interior of the fuel tank, a closing device which interacts with an actuating device which is composed of: a) a frame which is fastened in the interior of the fuel tank and which has a force store which actuates the closing device; b) a locking arrangement which holds the force store in the stressed state; c) a release mechanism which is operatively connected to a float; and d) a stressing mechanism for stressing the force store. The actuating device ensures that a flap closes precisely when a nominal filling level is reached, and does not open again even under intense fluctuation of the liquid level.

  • Patent number: 7661438
Abstract: An improved fill valve has a pivot valve body that is pivotally suspended immediately below a float housing and is movable between two positions. In a first position, the pivot valve body blocks the flow of water from the float housing. In a second position, the pivot body allows the flow of water from the float housing. The pivot valve body has two top compartments, each separated from the other by a wall. The first compartment retains an amount of water in it. The second compartment functions as a water flow restriction apparatus and includes an upwardly-extending member for sealing off a check valve that is disposed within the bottom of the float housing. The fill valve also includes structural elements that allow the water to trickle into the float housing at a very slow rate. The fill valve can be re-set for normal toilet tank operation.

  • Patent number: 5904179
Abstract: A check valve assembly mounted on an end surface of a projection of a valve body. The check valve assembly includes a valve having a sealing surface on one side and a stem on an opposite side, and the valve body includes a fluid inlet intersecting the end surface of the projection. A rigid mounting plate has a first locating element adapted to locate the mounting plate with respect to the end surface on the projection. The mounting plate has a second locating element adapted to receive a fastener for attaching the mounting plate to the end surface of the projection. A clearance hole in the mounting plate is sized to receive the stem of the valve. The stem of the valve moves freely within the first clearance hole thus permitting the valve to move freely between open and closed positions.
