Hollow Strainer, Fluid Inlet And Outlet Perpendicular To Each Other Patents (Class 137/549)
  • Patent number: 6899125
Abstract: The flow-adjusting device comprises: a housing (2) having an inlet channel (4) and an outlet channel (5) to be connected with respective pipes (6) through which a liquid is caused to flow, a closure assembly (7) arranged in the housing (2) between the inlet and outlet channels (4, 5) for drivingly adjusting the flow of the liquid, and a deformable diaphragm (3), deformation of which takes place in proportion to the liquid pressure in the outlet channel (5) and which is active on the closure assembly (7). The device also comprises a hollow body (15) internally bounding a storage chamber (16) disposed between the inlet and the outlet channels (4, 5), the storage chamber (16) having a lower portion (16a) to be engaged by the liquid and an upper portion (16b) defining an air-tight region wherein air under pressure is stored under the effect of increasing pressure of the liquid and causes recirculation of the liquid on decreasing of the liquid pressure.

Abstract: A liquid dispensing device including a body generally having an air passage and a liquid passage. A valve seat is connected to the body and a valve stem is mounted for movement within the body with respect to the valve seat. A piston is caused to move by pressurized air, and is caused by a spring and optionally, air pressure above the piston, to return to its normal position when the air pressure is relieved. The stem is connected to the piston so that it is caused to move linearly to and from the valve seat. The stem is not rigidly connected to the piston, allowing the piston to find its center in the air cylinder and the stem to find its center in the liquid chamber. The piston is mounted with two bearing points so that it is not affected by uneven spring pressure. The stem is located by two bearing points, the adhesive seal and the seat. The air cylinder body and valve body are separated by a large open area.

The danger of feed line leakage for combustion engines that burn liquid fuel is eliminated using a coaxial second valve using no additional space to solve the problem. The other essentially coaxial valve within the main valve is in open position opposite the feed direction when the pressure at the outlet channel is greater than the feed pressure. • Patent number: 6109295
Abstract: This invention relates to an improved valve which achieves high reliability through a simplicity of design, a minimum number of parts, a unique valve seat with a two stage sealing action, and at the same time provides a large flow when in the open position, owing to a large cross section opening. The valve features an improved sealing efficiency, in that when in the closed position an increase in pressure on the valve improves the performance of the valve, rather than increasing the likelihood of a leak. The valve is designed to be used in applications which permit the flow of material beyond the valve mechanism to discharge freely, whereby the discharged material activates a float mechanism so as to permit the valve to close when the discharged material reaches a preset level.

Abstract: A modular pressure regulator/filter wherein the fuel filter is adapted to be attached to a fuel delivery system of an internal combustion engine and the housing thereof has a projecting wall on the filter housing adjacent to a female opening in the fuel filter housing. This projecting wall has at least one slot therein. A clip is provided and includes a disc portion with a central opening therein for selectively receiving a male outlet conduit from the pressure regulator. A clip projection, which is integral with and movably attached to the disc portion, is adapted to be selectively received into the slot in the projecting wall whereby the clip is held from moving away from the projecting wall. An annular projection on the pressure regulator housing is disposed between the disc portion and the clip projection when the clip projection is in the first position thereof for holding the pressure regulator housing in the clip.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a gas controlling device for integration such that it can be simply removed or mounted without disassembling a gas line in a high purity gas supply system for a semiconductor. The gas controlling device for integration comprises a main body which is vertically constituted and has a gas inlet passage and a gas outlet passage formed in a lower body, a nut mounted on an outer periphery of the lower body, a passage block having a gas inlet passage and a gas outlet passage, and a sealing means disposed between the lower body and the passage block. The lower body is inserted into the mounting hole of the passage block and is fixed to the passage block by screwing the nut. Since the gas controlling device for integration is fixed to the passage block by screwing the nut mounted on the outer periphery of the lower body, it can be removed or mounted only by loosening or tightening one nut without disassembling the gas line.

Abstract: An emission control valve assembly has an internal main flow passage through a valve body between a first port and a second port, an electric actuator, and a valve operated by an armature of the actuator to selectively open and close the passage. A force-balancing mechanism applies to the valve a force that opposes force created by pressure differential between the first and second ports. An annular filter cartridge is disposed within the valve body to trap particulate material in flow entering through the first port so that the trapped material does not reach the valve and its seat.

  • Patent number: 5996608
Abstract: A diaphragm-type control valve for irrigation systems has an outer clam-shell housing that encloses a vertically reciprocable diaphragm assembly. A primary valve seat inside the housing is engaged and disengaged by a seal on the underside of the diaphragm to open and close the valve by connecting and disconnecting its inlet and outlet passages. Pressurized water from a lower inlet chamber of the valve travels through a small metering orifice in the center of the diaphragm assembly to an upper pressure control chamber above a flexible membrane of the diaphragm assembly. A solenoid actuated pilot valve is operatively coupled to the upper pressure control chamber for venting pressurized water therefrom to permit the diaphragm assembly to move upwardly to open the valve. A filter screen is mounted to the underside of the diaphragm assembly to prevent debris from clogging the metering orifice, clogging the small passages of the pilot valve, or fouling the solenoid.
