Abstract: A diffuser assembly for a hydraulic reservoir is disclosed. The diffuser assembly includes an inlet tube for connection to the inlet to the reservoir. A middle portion of the middle tube is connected to a plurality of diffusers. The diffusers are disposed at an angle with respect to an axis of the inlet tube and the axis of the inlet to the reservoir so that fluid flowing into the reservoir must change flow directions for entering and exiting the diffusers. The disclosed diffuser assembly is less prone to damaged cause by fluid flow spikes and is particularly useful for high flow/high pressure applications.

Abstract: The present invention includes: a valve main body including a filling port through which a fuel gas is filled in a tank and an output port through which the fuel gas in the tank is output; and a jet flow deflection piece through which the fuel gas to be filled through the filling port is ejected at a predetermined angle relative to an axial direction of the tank. The jet flow deflection piece includes: a fuel ejecting portion including an ejection port through which the fuel gas is ejected into the tank; and a temperature measuring portion in which a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature of the fuel gas to be filled in the tank is provided. Thus, the temperature of the fuel gas when filling the fuel tank with the fuel gas can be precisely measure and monitored.

Abstract: A self contained one-way pressure relief valve for application to product packaging that does not require the addition of a sealing lubricant. Atop a base with an opening extending through the base is an adhesive-like material layer, and a dry strap of a silicone or other release film coated membrane, all of which are of gas impervious materials. The release film coated material layer covers the opening with the release film in contact with the adhesive-like material creating a surface attraction between the release film and the adhesive-like material. An intermediate layer of gas impervious material with an opening extending through such layer may be provided. A gas pervious filter material layer may be provided to block passage of fine particulates or liquid.

  • Patent number: 8656948
Abstract: A wide variety of machines have moveable members that are operated by an hydraulic actuator. For example, an internal combustion engine has a camshaft which is mechanically coupled to rotate with the crankshaft and which opens and closes cylinder intake and exhaust valves. Traditionally the camshaft timing was fixed at a setting that produced the best operation for all engine operating conditions. However, it has been recognized that engine performance can be improved if the valve timing varies as a function of engine speed, engine load, and other factors. Thus a hydraulic actuator is being used on some engines to vary the coupling relationship of the camshaft to the crankshaft. A solenoid operated valve controls the application of pressurized fluid to operate the hydraulic actuator.
