  • Patent number: 8991427
Abstract: A high pressure three-way control valve comprises a valve body defining first, second, and third ports disposed in selective fluid communication with each other via a control element. The control element is movable between a first seated position and a second seated position to selectively control the direction of fluid between the first and second port, or alternatively, between the first and third port. So configured, the control valve serves a function that conventionally requires two valves plumbed together.

  • Publication number: 20140230931
Abstract: A vacuum cleaning machine has a cannister with an inlet port and at least two outlet ports. At least two filters are disposed inside of the cannister, one in pneumatic communication through each of the outlet ports. At least two valves are disposed outside of the cannister. Each valve is in pneumatic communication between a vacuum source and an outlet port so as to permit air to be drawn by the vacuum source from the inlet port simultaneously through the filters. A controller operates the valves to switch the filters from the vacuum source to ambient air so as to permit ambient air to be sequentially intermittently drawn through corresponding valves and filters into the cannister. Preferably, the controller includes a timing mechanism for setting the delay time of the sequential valve operation and a timing mechanism for setting the intermittent time of connection of each filter to ambient air.

  • Patent number: 8550118
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for connecting a valve housing (2; 2.1; 2.2; 2.3; 2.4) to an actuator (3) in a process valve acting as a lift valve (1; 1.1; 1.2; 1.3; 1.4). The aim of the invention is to design a device for connecting a valve housing to an actuator in a process valve of the type in question that acts as a lift valve, is shorter and less expensive than all known devices of said type, is as safe as possible when opening, and has a very simple design. Said aim is achieved by mounting the lantern-type housing (3.1) on the valve housing (2; 2.1; 2.2; 2.3, 2.4) by means of a bayonet joint (2f, 2g/3.1d, 3.1e) or a bayonet-type joint.

  • Patent number: 8528598
Abstract: A flow splitter (10) that is uniquely characterized by the use of two diaphragm valves in a single valve body that are arranged in opposition to one another. The diaphragm valves are coupled together for common movement by a coupler, such that the flow rate through respective outlets is a function of the position of either diaphragm valve. That is, the position of one valve is a function of the position of the other valve, and vice versa. With this construction a single actuator can control the ratio of total flow that will be delivered to each of two outlet ports. Moreover, such construction eliminates the need for thermal or pressure sensors and thus the drawbacks associated therewith.
