Heddles Patents (Class 140/72)
  • Patent number: 6249956
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a stator to improve accuracy in inserting conductor segments (3, 31, 32) into slots (2). The apparatus according to the present invention comprises a conductor holder (21, 22) holding the conductor segments (3, 31, 32) and an axial-moving-mechanisms (214) moving the conductor holder (21, 22) relative to a stator core (1) in an axial direction. The conductor holder (21, 22) holds straight portions (31b, 31c, 32b, 32c) of the conductor segments (3, 31, 32) to be inserted into the slots (2) from one end of the stator core (1).

  • Patent number: 6213162
Abstract: A weaving heddle formed of a strip of material has end eyes adjacent opposing end sections of the heddle and a central thread eyelet. The spaced apart legs forming the long sides of the heddle eyes extend transversely outwardly of the opposing edges of the strip from which the heddle is made, and in the area of at least one of the short sides of the rectangular end eye is an auxiliary squeeze-pressed section at a spaced apart distance therefrom providing a separating ridge located between the short side of the end eye and the auxiliary pressed section(s). The ridge is oriented such that its base is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the heddle.
