Swinging Support For Receiver Patents (Class 141/271)
  • Patent number: 9376304
Abstract: A tilter for holding a container in a tilted position for receiving a beverage being dispensed from a dispensing system such as a beer faucet, which holds the container, such as a cup or mug, in an initial highly tilted orientation for receiving the dispensed beverage, and which progressively reduces the degree of tilt as the container fills. The tilter can operate in cooperation with the lever or other actuator of a dispenser to automatically be tilted to the initial highly tilted orientation when the actuator is operated to initially dispense, and to automatically operate the actuator to stop the dispensing of the beverage when a final reduced degree of tilt is reached and present the filled container for removal from the tilter.

  • Patent number: 7228879
Abstract: An improved fluid dispenser specially adapted to provide sample-size amounts of a fluid mixture is shown and described. An automated closure and seal system is provided for the manifold that moves, on command from a controller, from a closed or sealed position thereby limiting exposure of the manifold and fluid outlet nozzles from the ambient atmosphere, to a dispense system where a sample-size container is held up against and engaging a lower end of the manifold for a sealing element disposed on a lower portion of the manifold. When the dispense is complete, the system automatically moves back toward a closed position where the filled container is held open and ready to be removed by a technician before it is capped and labeled.

  • Patent number: 5373874
Abstract: In a fluid vending machine, a pivoting dispensing assembly comprises a housing having the form of a cylindrical sector, and a conformingly shaped platform rotatingly secured therein having a sectorial base plate and rectangular inner and outer sides. A spring disposed between the base plate of the platform and a bottom plate of the housing urges the platform towards a closed position therein. A user supplied container disposed on the base plate is filled with fluid dispensed through an aperture on a top plate of the housing. A switch on the housing in contact with the inner side of the platform when in the closed position shuts off the egress of fluid into the container should the user draw out the platform during a dispense cycle.

  • Patent number: 5086817
Abstract: A device that holds a pitcher at a preselected angle of tilt while the pitcher is being filled with a beverage. Where beer is the beverage, the angle of tilt ensures that the beer will flow down the inner side walls of the pitcher, thereby suppressing the foam or head that would develop if the pitcher were charged while in an upright disposition. The weight of the beer as it gradually fills the pitcher gradually overcomes the bias that causes the initial tilting so that the head is continually suppressed throughout the charging operation and so that the pitcher is completely upright when filled. The device saves its user from having to hold a heavy pitcher at a tilted position throughout the charging process.

  • Patent number: 4055203
Abstract: A machine for packing compressible low density loose fill cellulose insulation material into flexible bags. A machine includes a hopper for receiving bulk quantities of loose fill insulation material. A metered feed mechanism is sequentially operable to discharge measured amounts of the loose insulation material from the hopper to an upright charging tube. Below the tube is mounted a container receiving mechanism and a container enclosure mechanism. Empty flexible insulation receiving bags are mounted to the receiving mechanism and located in position directly below the charging tube. The enclosure mechanism is operated to close about the periphery of the empty container while a compactor mechanism operates to compress the preselected amount of insulation into the waiting container. Once the container is packed, the enclosure mechanism opens to allow the filled container to be removed and an empty container mounted in its place.
