Work Holder Or Guide Also Rotary Patents (Class 144/28.8)
  • Patent number: 8459317
Abstract: Disclosed is a hand-crank pencil sharpener, comprising a housing and a gearing member and a sharpening member which are installed within the housing. The gearing member is connected to a hand crank and transmits a rotation of the crank to the sharpening member. A vertical feeding path is provided for a pencil to be inserted into the sharpening member. The hand-crank pencil sharpener further comprises a feeding member in the feeding path. The gearing member comprises a gearing branch for driving the feeding member. The inserted pencil is fed into or withdrawn from the sharpener automatically by a linkage of the gearing branch and the feeding member when the crank is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise.

Abstract: A reciprocating pencil sharpener has a stationary member, a cutter and a ratchet mechanism. The cutter includes a blade secured to a blade holder. The ratchet mechanism is mounted between the stationary member and the cutter and allows the cutter to rotate relative to the stationary member in one direction only. When a user desires to sharpen a pencil, the user can keep the pencil in the hand and rotate the pencil in reciprocating rotation, thus obtaining the sharpened point of the pencil. Consequently, it is convenient for the user to apply a rotational force and a high efficiency of sharpening operation is achieved.

  • Patent number: 8205649
Abstract: A cutter assembly for an electric pencil sharpener has a cutter bracket and a cutter. The cutter bracket has a pencil sharpening hole and an engaging structure. The pencil sharpening hole is defined in the cutter bracket for a pencil to be inserted into the pencil sharpening hole. The engaging structure is formed on the cutter bracket to engage a rotating frame in the electric pencil sharpener. The cutter is mounted rotatably on the cutter bracket. Accordingly, the cutter assembly is replaceable for the electric pencil sharpener when the cutter of the cutter assembly is damaged or worn.

  • Patent number: 7669619
Abstract: An electric pencil sharpener includes a frame, a first motor, a first transmission mechanism driven by the first motor, and a continuing feeding mechanism. The feeding mechanism includes a roller, a feeding wheel rotatably mounted to the frame and driven by the first transmission mechanism, and a driving assembly. An end of the driving assembly is driven by the first transmission mechanism, and the other end of the driving assembly is connected to the roller. The roller defines a groove in a bottom thereof, for pencils falling through. The feeding wheel defines a plurality of receiving slots each for receiving a pencil. The roller is driven by the driving assembly to swing, when the groove of the roller aligns with one of the receiving slots of the roller. Thus, a pencil falls into the receiving slot.

  • Patent number: 7654385
Abstract: Machine for front joining and sticking of oblong wood workpieces by toothed front joints and referential procedure consists of the flow press and entrance conveying line, and solves the problem of simple and quality front joining and sticking of workpieces, which travel through them fast and fluently in a consecutive row, irrespective of possible yet allowed curvature and dimensional deviation. This is enabled by the construction of entrance conveyors and exit conveyors of the conveying line, equipped with mechanisms for adjustment of side chain units, and with elastic couplings, whereby inside the side chain units the elastic insertions are placed, and inside pressing conveyors other elastic insertions are placed. Joints among individual entrance conveyors, among individual exit conveyors, and among conveyors are likewise elastic constructions by means of adjustable screws placed between fixed cantilevers, and between tension cantilevers.
