Abstract: In order to create a toothbrush having a head part with bristles and having a handle part, such that the head part is movably connected to the handle part by means of a spring-like device and such that the device comprises a web which extends through the device and with which the head part is connected to the handle part in one piece, the head part being connected to the handle part by a spring-like device, such that the head part executes an approximately parallel displacement under load. The proposed device has an elastic supporting element with an opening, and the supporting element comprises a supporting web which borders the opening and together with the web, when a load is applied to the head part, produces an approximately parallel displacement of the head part from an initial position into at least one load position together with the web.

  • Patent number: 8984701
Abstract: A handle for a cleaning tool such as a floor mop comprising at least two handle segments attached to each other by a flexible connector such that the handle has one configuration in which it is rigid and another configuration in which it is flexible. In one exemplary embodiment, a movable rigid sleeve extends over the entire flexible connector and a portion of each handle segment such that it prevents the flexible connector from bending. When the movable rigid sleeve is moved to a position where it does not extend over the flexible connector, the flexible connector can bend relative to the longitudinal axis of the handle, to allow easy access under cabinets or furniture.

  • Patent number: 8973202
Abstract: The oral hygiene device, particularly a toothbrush, has in the neck part, a cavity, which is closed off from the surroundings and in which a snap dome is arranged. This snap dome produces an acoustic warning signal when a limiting bending of the neck part is exceeded as a result of a limiting pressing force with which the head part is pressed, for example, against the teeth and gums is exceeded. On the one hand, this has the effect of protecting the snap dome, usually produced from metal, from corrosion and, on the other hand, the cavity serves as a resonance chamber to amplify the warning signal.

Abstract: An adjustable holder assembly for removably holding, articulating, and rotating painting tools may include a handle assembly. An articulating arm may be pivotally coupled to a proximal end of the handle assembly and may be configured to allow both the articulating arm and a tool handle housing to be simultaneously angularly adjusted from a longitudinal axis of the holder assembly to any position from 0 degrees to 90 degrees. The tool handle housing may be configured to removably secure a handle of a painting tool at least partially therein. The tool handle housing may be removably coupled to the articulating arm such that the tool handle housing can be rotationally adjusted around a longitudinal axis of the holder assembly to any position from 0 degrees to 90 degrees; and a receiver end defining a channel.
