An upper portion of the passage is located within the contact portion and is sized and shaped to contact opposed sides of the mixing paddle to wipe the fluid material off of the opposed sides of the mixing paddle when the contact portion is moved along the opposed sides of the mixing paddle. A lower portion of the passage located within the accumulation portion forms a cavity in fluid flow communication with the upper portion of the passage in the contact portion.

In the wiping configuration and in the standard configuration, the dipstick closes the tube, and reaches through the tube. In the wiping configuration, the dipstick reaches through the tube past the wiper, and the dipstick is alternatively withdrawable from the tube past the wiper, whereupon the wiper wipes the dipstick, and with the wiper, whereupon the wiper leaves the dipstick unwiped.

    Abstract: A dip stick wiper apparatus includes a frame which includes a first frame leg, a second frame leg, and a resilient frame bridge connected therebetween. A first absorbent member is connected to an inside portion of the first frame leg, and a second absorbent member is connected to and inside portion of the second frame leg. The respective absorbent members can be made of absorbent sponge material. The first frame leg and the second frame leg are spaced apart from each other by a dip-stick reception gap and are parallel to each other. To wipe oil off of a dip stick, the dip stick is placed in the dip-stick reception gap and pulled upward so that the oil from the dip stick is absorbed into the first and second absorbent members. Preferably, a magnet member is connected to an outside portion of either the first frame leg or the second frame leg.

A porous foamed sheet having openings on its surface and having air bubbles inside may be used as the elastic sheet. A polishing layer is formed on the surface of the foamed sheet, having a porous surface with openings corresponding to the openings on the foamed sheet. A spacer may be provided between the substrate and the plastic sheet for adjusting the heights of the polishing layers formed over the intermediate sheets.

    Abstract: The dipstick fuel squeegee of the present invention includes an elongated, rigid but lightweight base with foot pegs on either end and is long enough to span the opening of most large tanks. The base has a midsection into which first a wiper member and then a securing member are releaseably attached. There are openings in the midsection, the wiper member, and the securing member which are vertically aligned. The openings of the midsection and the securing member are approximately equal in size while the opening in the wiper element is smaller. The wiper element is made of a flexible, resilient material and substantially centered over the opening in the seat. During use, a dipstick is inserted through the three openings of the squeegee, the user secures the squeegee by standing on the foot pegs, and the wiper member dislodges any liquid adhering to the dipstick as the user raises it through the squeegee.

    Abstract: A hand-held adhesive trough is provided which enables a floor or wall installer to comfortably hold in one hand an adhesive trough while using a bladed tool such as a trowel or tape knife with the other hand to apply adhesive to an underlying surface to which a floor or wall is to be installed. The trough includes a first compartment for fresh adhesive, and a second compartment for contaminated adhesive removed from the blade of the trowel. A trowel blade cleaner is incorporated in a wall of the second compartment to enable the installer to clean the trowel while holding the trough by sliding the blade through a v-shaped slot, with the old, contaminated adhesive falling from the blade into the second compartment. The compartments may include removable, disposable liners to ease clean-up. A comfortable, pistol-grip type handle is provided which may include a two-part adhesive for allowing the installer to form a custom-grip handle which conforms to the installer's grip.
