Abstract: A multi-textured, bag-shaped vehicle washing mitt that fits over and encloses the head and bristles of a common household broom or mop. The mitt has a soft textured side for use where a light touch is sufficient to remove loosely adhered dust and dirt, and it has a rough textured side to be used where a vigorous scrubbing action is required to dislodge stubbornly attached dirt and grime. For use, the broom head is inserted into the open end of the mitt, and it is secured in place by the elastic upper band portion of the mitt and by a drawstring closure at the open end of the mitt. The absorbent material of the mitt along with the broom bristles are capable of holding and dispensing the wash water. The broom/mitt combination can also be used with a pressurized water hose attached to the broom handle and feeding into the mitt.

Advantageously, the bristles are aligned and positioned through the apertures when the top plate is positioned on the base plate. In this manner, the bristles terminate away from the top plate such that the top plate shields the base plate from the hair. Notably, the top plate is freely disengaged from the base plate and capable of both collecting and removing the hair from the receptacle.

Abstract: A printhead maintenance system for a printing machine having at least one printhead, the system includes a body, at least one guide track supporting the body for movement along the at least one guide track in proximity to the face of the printhead, and a drive mechanism in engagement with the body and operable to move the body along the guide track. A wiper blade is movably mounted on said body for movement between a retracted position in which the wiper blade cannot contact the face of the printhead and an operative position in which the wiper blade can contact the face of the printhead. A biasing mechanism is provided between the wiper blade and the body that is configured to bias the wiper blade to the operative position. The system includes a retraction mechanism that is operable to move the wiper blade to the retracted position upon movement of the body along the guide track.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a handle attachment for attaching to a main shaft of a weed trimmer. The handle attachment comprises a clamping mechanism, a shaft coupled to the clamping mechanism, and a grip coupled to the shaft. The clamping mechanism is configured to be coupled to the main shaft of the weed trimmer closer to a distal end of the main shaft than to the proximal end of the main shaft. The shaft is configured to extend towards the proximal end of the main shaft and at least partially above the main shaft. The grip is configured to be positioned closer to the proximal end of the main shaft than to the distal end of the main shaft. The grip is further positioned above a standard weed trimmer and perpendicular the main shaft. Positioning the grip above the standard grip reduces back and hip strain on the user.

A stack of cartridges is insertable into the bore. Each cartridge includes a cleaning tip such as an interproximal brush. A cap may be engaged with the sleeve to protect the tip and keep it hygienic. The cartridges are progressively advanced along the bore to present their cleaning tip for use. A locking member secures the uppermost cartridge in place. Once used, a cartridge is removed from the sleeve and may be discarded or inserted into an opening to the bore in the sleeve's second end. The tip may be snapped off prior to insertion. The cartridge stack is drawn along the bore as the uppermost cartridge is removed or insertion of the spent cartridge will advance the cartridge stack along the bore.

The broom cover attachment includes a handle attachment having a central unit, a hole in the central unit for receiving a handle of the broom, and a plurality of elastic bands attached to a surface between an outer circumference and an inner circumference of the central unit. Each of the plurality of elastic bands may include a first Velcro attachment. The broom cover attachment also includes a cloth including a number of second Velcro attachment attached to a surface of the cloth. The second Velcro attachments may be fastened to the first Velcro attachment of the elastic bands for covering the bristles of the broom.

A skirt of polar fleece fabric has a yoke long enough so that one end of the polar fleece fabric laps the other end when wrapped around the broom head. Hook and loop fasteners on the yoke where one end laps the other end enable the skirt to remain wrapped around the broom head. A plurality of strips that are at least one to three inches longer than the height of the broom head and bristles depend from the yoke. The skirt of polar fleece fabric yoke and strips are conveniently made of a single piece of fabric. A fabric with a stretchable direction transverse to a non-stretchable direction works best if the yoke is substantially parallel to the non-stretchable direction.

Abstract: A surface cleaning device, such as a mop, which includes a T-frame, a cleaning cloth, a piece of string and two hooks as its basic components, is provided. The T-frame is comprised of a handle and a shoe. The string passes through a hole near the top of the handle and is attach to the ends of the cloth by two hooks, pulling the cloth tightly against the shoe. One section of the cloth is under the shoe, and in contact with the floor, at a time. Once this section is soiled, it is replaced with an adjacent clean section of the cloth by pulling the string. A roller is provided to make pulling the string easier. When the entire cloth is soiled, it can be unhooked to be washed or replaced.

Abstract: A hair brush cover for use in covering the bristles of a hair brush having bristles and a handle, the hair brush cover having a net component with a closed end and an open end. An elastic band is adapted around the open end. The open end of the net component is sized and configured to fit over the bristles of the hair brush while the elastic band retains the hair brush cover on the handle thereof. The hair brush cover thereby provides users with a quick and convenient manner in which to remove unwanted hair from within the bristles of a hair brush.

The drying cloth may be made of absorbent fabric sewn to form a fabric shell with a hollow center extending between a first and a second opening. The drying cloth may also have a pole opening formed therethrough mid-way between the first opening and the second opening and a first seam edge and a second seam edge extending between the pole opening and the second opening to cooperatively form an openable seam. The openable seam may be placed in an attached and an unattached configuration via attaching and detaching attachment devices of the drying cloth. The drying cloth may be attachable to a cleaning tool having an elongated handle and an end fixture attached to the handle. The elongated handle may fit through the pole opening and the drying cloth is sized to loosely fit over the end fixture.

A brush support device may provide protection of bristles of cosmetic brushes during transportation, be configured to hold the brush in a bristles-down support configuration during drying and/or after use, and ensure uniformity as the bristles dry. The brush support device may include a gripping portion to grip a handle or a ferrule portion of the brush, a stand portion to support the brush in bristles-down position, and a vent portion in between the gripping and stand portions. By virtue of the vent portion, air is able to flow over and around the bristles to facilitate drying.

An elongated slot in said top wall extends downwardly and communicates with the cavity. The width of the slot is less than the diameter of the cavity. The handle includes a vertical pole with a horizontal bar connected to the bottom end forming a T configuration. The handle can be connected to the mop head by aligning the bar with the slot and pushing down on the pole to force the bar through the slot and into the cavity. The portions of the block around the slot flex out of the way to allow the bar to pass therethrough and then flex back to their normal position to maintain the bar in place within the cavity.

The lid is inserted into the opening of the bag and the bag is held in place on the lateral edge of the lid by a bungee cord in the groove. Ribbed pipe connects the fan outlet of the blower/vacuum to the lid and sends debris towards the lid and the bag. A membrane under the bag protects the bag from the roughness of the ground.

The intermittent contact between the handle of the brush and the retention mechanism allows for the brush to be releasably secured within the elongate sleeve. The bristle portion of the brush is covered by the distal end of the elongate sleeve.

The apparatus includes a device that has a handle and a transfer medium which is attached to the handle. The apparatus further includes a cover that is attached to the device. The cover includes a closure element that is operable to open and close an end of the cover. When the end of the cover is open, the cover is movable between a first position where the cover protects the transfer medium and a second position where the cover protects the handle. Abstract: An electric tilling machine has a motor mounted on a machine body for rotationally driving a tilling shaft provided with tilling claws. A housing/cleaning box has an upper opening and is configured to receive therein the tilling shaft and tilling claws with the machine body closing the opening of the box. Front and rear locking sections lock the machine body to the housing/cleaning box with the tilling shaft and tilling claws housed in the box. A control section keeps the motor in a controllably operable condition while the machine body is locked in the housing/cleaning box so that the motor can be operated to rotate the tilling shaft and tilling claws within the box in a cleaning mode.

Abstract: A system and method for protecting bristles that includes a sleeve sized and shaped to be slideably received over a handle attached to the bristles, the sleeve formed of breathable material to facilitate drying of the bristles, and the sleeve formed of rigid material to support the handle and the bristles in a vertical orientation and to protect the bristles, the sleeve formed of a length sufficient to cover the bristles, and to cover at least a portion of the handle. In accordance with a method of the invention, the sleeve is slid over the proximal end of the handle and moved down the handle to a position where the sleeve covers the bristles and a first end of the sleeve extends beyond the bristles, and the handle is placed in a vertical orientation so that the first end of the sleeve bears against a supporting surface to hold the handle and the bristles in a vertical orientation.
