  • Patent number: 5653276
Abstract: A combination wallet and billfold includes generally rectangular front and back planar wallet members joined along a bottom side and along two lateral sides. At least one of the front and back wallet members has an outside surface defining a currency face. The top side of the wallet members are un-joined to define a pocket between the wallet members where the pocket is configured to receive credit cards and similarly-sized documents. A U-shaped clip is secured to the currency face and is configured to secure paper currency to the currency face. The clip includes first and second generally converging leg portions connected to each other by a connecting portion urging the leg portions toward each other under compressive tension. • Patent number: 5241893
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary hydraulic distributor comprising a primary rotary element (3) coupled to an actuating device and connected for rotation with a valve rotor, a secondary rotary element (5) coupled to a driven device and connected for rotation with a valve stator, the valve stator and the valve rotor mutually cooperating to control a double acting servomotor of the driven device, a limited relative angular displacement being permitted between primary and secondary elements (3, 5) on either side from a central rest position, and a reaction mechanism being provided in order to bias the primary element (3) toward the central rest position. According to the invention, the reaction mechanism consists of a pair of independent substantially U-shaped pistons (7) able to tilt within respectively one bore (12) of a pair of bores symmetrically provided in secondary element (5), the legs (15) of U-shaped pistons (7) engaging and biasing opposite radial ends (4) of primary rotary element (3).

  • Patent number: 5184657
Abstract: A multi-compartmented wallet is formed from a single piece of material in accordance with a predetermined pattern of cuts and fold lines. The generally rectangular material is initially cut leaving tab-like projections extending from both short edges. Slots are cut from a middle region of both short edges and extend inwardly for approximately one third of the length of the rectangle thereby dividing each short edge into two sections. Selected fold lines are pre-creased and each tab and a contiguous triangular portion of material is folded inwardly over the rectangle and the diagonal fold line is secured with adhesive, leaving the tab free. Opposed sections of the short edges of the material are then folded upwardly, and the short edges are pinched in the middle forming two opposed gathers that are perpendicular to the inward fold. The opposed gathers are interlaid to form compartments in the wallet. The completed wallet has fourteen pockets.
