    Abstract: A refrigerated display case includes a cabinet having a top opening, at least one. A sliding door move to cover and uncover the opening, and a night cover. The night cover can be stored inside the cabinet and pulled out to cover at least one of the sliding doors at night. A spacing member is disposed on the trailing edge of the door frame and keeps the night cover from sagging and contacting the door. Therefore, the sliding door can be opened and closed easily since friction between the sliding door and the night cover is eliminated by the spacing member. Furthermore, the weight, structure, and external appearance of the night cover need not be changed.

    Abstract: A cover for a computer keyboard comprises a sheet of elastic elastomeric material such as polyester film of sufficient length and width to cover a keyboard, which is of sufficient rigidity to retain a cylindrical shape when rolled and to cover the keyboard top and at least two opposing sides of the keyboard when unrolled. The cover is formed by rolling the sheet into a tight roll and then heating the rolled sheet for a sufficient time at a sufficient temperature such that when cooled, it will possess a curl characteristic retaining memory of its rolled condition, then cooling the material. The sheet may be formed in a roll which is oriented to extend and roll up from either the left hand side or right hand side of the keyboard. The two long edges extend past the edges and grip the side or underside of the keyboard. In another embodiment, the sheet is cut to form a roll which is oriented top to bottom relative to the keyboard face or front.

    Abstract: A polished surface protective sleeve that is used for covering the electrical cord of a car wax polishing and buffing machine. The protective sleeve is formed of an elongated tubular member having an internal diameter greater than the outside diameter of the electrical cord. The outer surface of the tubular member is entirely covered by a layer of soft unabrasive material. The protective sleeve has been designed to eliminate the situation when the electrical cord is dragged across a polished car surface while buffing an adjacent area.

    Abstract: A protective cover for electronic equipment automatically expanding by the spring action of a pair of telescoping arms (24) having a cover (48) of resilient material attached between. The arms (24) are positioned contiguous with a pair of bases (20) that are located parallel with each other on the floor on either side of the electronic equipment with a hinged cover enclosure (50) between the ends forming a "U" shape. The arms (24) are connected on the ends by a strut (26) holding the cover (48). Solenoids (58) retain the arms in a tensioned position and when electrically actuated release them. The spring action pivots the arms with its accompanying cover completely enveloping the equipment. A lever (64) arrangement overrides the solenoid action manually releasing the arms. The device is reset by manually rotating and compressing the arms while folding the cover (48) into the enclosure (50). The object is to protect expensive equipment from fire, smoke and water damage if a fire is in the vicinity.
