  • Patent number: 5350001
Abstract: The lamella fine cut-outs provided in profile elements of the tread surface of a tire, have three-dimensionally structured wall regions. Such wall regions restrict relative movements of the mutually facing wall regions in lateral as well as in radial direction. In such manner there are improved the travel characteristics as well as the wear characteristics like break-outs and irregular wear of such lamella tires.
