A complete manufacturing system includes a frame molding machine, the bonding apparatus, an inspection station and a packaging station.

Abstract: A tape adhering device (10) comprises: a drawing roller (42) for drawing out a tape (3); a tape fixing means (47) for fixing one portion of the tape drawn out from the drawing roller; a tape drawing means (62) for drawing out a predetermined amount of tape, which is fixed by the tape fixing means, from the drawing roller between the tape fixing means and the drawing roller; and a tape adhering means (49, 31, 37) for adhering the tape, which is located in the downstream of the tape fixing means, onto an object to be adhered (20, 36) under the condition that fixing operation of the tape by the tape fixing means is released. It is preferable that the length of the tape drawn out by the tape drawing means is not less than the diameter of the object to be adhered. Due to the foregoing, it is possible to prevent wrinkles from being form on the tape at the time of adhering the tape.

Abstract: If a plurality of part film webs are each stored on different supply shafts, considerable effort is necessary to use a plurality of part film webs within one apparatus. If the part film webs are stored as a plurality of part film webs on a common supply shaft, various problems can arise. Preferably a plurality of part film webs can be used in an apparatus for the transfer of a transfer layer to a sheet. Ideally, the supply shaft and/or collecting shaft is/are constructed as a friction shaft, so that the transfer of the rotational movement of the friction shaft to the transfer film supply roll and/or transfer film collecting roll is carried out via a frictional connection between shaft and roll, which can be overcome by tensile forces of the transfer film web. Therefore, a plurality of transfer film rolls having different diameters are provided on the friction shaft.

Abstract: A label applicator system provides for high speed, accurate label transfer from a web to items moving on an item transport along a path relative to the system. The items, such as bottles, have a contoured surface. The applicator includes a supply reel for supplying labels on a web and a take-up for taking up the web after transfer of the label. A drive roller moves the web through the applicator system. The system includes a web positioning assembly and a movable label applicator head. A contour sensor senses the bottle contour and develops a profile for the head to follow to apply the labels to the bottles. The supply, take-up and the drive are operably engaged with one another to maintain a relatively constant tension in the web.
