Composite Patents (Class 16/217)
  • Patent number: 11492794
Abstract: A flange connector is embedded in precast concrete structural member for use in joining adjacent concrete members together, wherein the flange connector is characterized by a center plate and legs extending back from each side of the center plate. Each of the legs is provided with projections extending from the top edge and bottom edge of the leg, in the same plane defined by the height and length of the leg. The projections extending from the top edge and the bottom edge of the leg may be mirror images of each other, so that the cross-sectional area of the leg is substantially the same over the portion of the leg with the projections. The legs of the flange connector may incorporate additional enhancements to increase the resistance to pull out, including a neck formed by notches in the top and bottom of each leg, adjacent the transition region extending from the center plate and one or more embossments creating a convex area on one side of each leg and a concave area on the opposite side of each leg.

  • Patent number: 8851432
Abstract: A base assembly removably and adjustably receives a tool and includes a base and a wall extending outwardly from the base. First and second openings are disposed in the wall. First and second cutouts are disposed in the wall to receive the tool. A pivot pin is removably received by the first and second openings. The tool is removably disposed on the pivot pin. A locking ring is disposed on the pivot pin. The locking ring is in a locked position to prevent movement of the pivot pin and in an unlocked position to allow movement of the pivot pin, thereby allowing the tool to be easily moved between positions and securely locked in a desired position.

  • Patent number: 4366852
Abstract: A cord weight assembly for drapes, blinds or the like having a generally cylindrical housing formed of two halves cooperating to define reversibly located end cavities in which a cord may be selectively, releasably attached and a central weight receiving cavity wherein the end cavities contain interfitting bosses and tubular members for securing the housing halves together and selectively engaging with the cord; and a resilient, deformable skirt fitted about the lower end of the housing and including a flexible flared base extending beyond the periphery of the housing for making non-damaging contact with adjacent structure in the event the cord weight assembly is swung out of its normally plumb position.
