Abstract: Locking hinge apparatus for aircraft doors are disclosed. An example locking hinge apparatus includes a hinge base to couple to a frame of an aircraft. A hinge gooseneck is to pivotally couple a door to the hinge base. The hinge gooseneck is to allow the door to move between a closed position and an open position relative to the frame. A lever is pivotally coupled to the hinge base. The lever is to pivot relative to the hinge base between a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction. The lever includes a lock to engage a portion of the hinge gooseneck to prevent rotational movement of the door relative to the frame when the door is in the open position. A biasing element is to urge the lever in the first rotational direction.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a kitchen appliance with a drawer. The kitchen appliance has a body, a drawer and a position-limiting lock assembly. The drawer is located in an accommodation cavity of the body. The position-limiting lock assembly has a lock and is mounted on the body and above the accommodation cavity. One end of the lock is rotatably connected to the body, and the other end of the lock protrudes from the front opening of the body. When the other end of the lock rotates to a position in front of the drawer cover, the drawer is restrained from being pulled out of the accommodation cavity; when the other end of the lock rotates away from the position in front of the drawer cover, the drawer can be pulled out of the accommodation cavity, thereby preventing the drawer from being accidentally opened in movement settings.

Abstract: A hinge includes a first connecting member, a shaft fixed to the first connecting member, a second connecting member rotatably mounted to the shaft, a positioning member fixed to the second connecting member, a first stopping member, a second stopping member and a fastener fixed to the shaft. A first raised portion extends from a first side of the second connecting member. The first and second stopping members each having a resisting surface are fixed to the shaft, and the first stopping member is sandwiched between the first side of the second connecting member and the positioning member. A withstanding protrusion protrudes out from the positioning member. When the second connecting member is rotated relative to the first connecting member to a predetermined degree, the resisting surfaces of the first and second stopping members resist against the first raised portion and the withstanding protrusion.

Abstract: A door hinge device for vehicle includes a checking-force generating mechanism provided between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder. The checking-force generating mechanism has a holding member attached to the outer cylinder, an elastic member biasing the holding member toward the inner cylinder, a detent roller being held in a holding groove of the holding member, and detent grooves that are provided in an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder and are capable of holding the door at a plurality of positions where the door should be stopped by an engagement with the detent roller. The detent roller applies a compression load to the elastic member even in a state where the detent roller is engaged with any of the detent grooves. An assembly groove is provided in the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder and allows the detent roller to be inserted into the holding groove in a state where the holding member is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder.

Abstract: A spring-loaded rotatable support integrated into the end of a cable modem housing can be deployed to prevent tipping of the modem housing when it is placed in the vertical position, and stowed to allow placement of the modem in a horizontal position. The support is formed so that its ends are shaped similarly to the front edge of the modem near the bottom end where the support is located. Thus, when the support is stowed, it blends into the overall shape of the modem, facilitating horizontal modem-placement and does not detract from the aesthetics of the modem. The support is shrouded at the rear of the bottom end to the extent that the support extends from the bottom end to provide level support.

Abstract: The micro-electromechanical hinged flap system includes a substantially horizontal substrate and a main flap hinged on one side thereof to the substrate. The system also includes at least one locking flap, preferably two, for securing the main flap in a substantially vertical position. The locking flap is coupled to the substrate by means of a biasing mechanism that continually forces the locking flap toward a position parallel to the substrate. Also provided is a method for assembling a micro-electromechanical hinged flap system. A locking flap is rotated through an acute angle against a biasing force. The biasing force is caused by a biasing mechanism coupling the locking flap to a substrate. A main flap is then raised, whereafter the locking flap is released, such that the biasing force causes the locking flap to engage with the main flap, thereby, securing the main flap in position at the predetermined angle.
