  • Patent number: 11878735
Abstract: A fender for a lawn mower having tire and wheel assemblies that are mounted to a yoke of a swivel caster assembly, whereby the yoke pivots through 360 degrees of rotation, includes an arcuate fender body. The fender body is attached to the yoke by a bracket so that it is rotatably carried by the rotating yoke. As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. This prevents the premature wear of such operational components, thereby decreasing down time and reducing maintenance costs of the mower.

  • Patent number: 10533753
Abstract: The invention presents a solution to avoid glue when fixing an elastic foot to a pot support, such as used in ranges and kitchen hobs. The pot support (1000) has a cavity (2200) which is aligned with an elastic foot (1300) which comprises on the other hand a hollow space (3240). By inserting an expansion body (3220, 3450) into the hollow space, a press fit is generated between a support structure (1800) of the pot support and/or elastic material of the foot (1300). Rivets (3450) or bolts (3220) are taught as expansion bodies. The invention also teaches a method to mount an elastic foot to a pot support. The invention provides a solution for avoiding the deteriorating effects of aging glue used in the prior art, which leads to the loss of rubber feet on current pot supports.

  • Patent number: 10465739
Abstract: An apparatus for securing an image sensor within a night vision scope is disclosed. The apparatus includes a flat washer, a crush bushing, and a fastener. The crush bushing is inserted through an opening of a corner anchor of the image sensor. A fastener receptacle is located at a module of the night vision scope. The fastener can be inserted through an opening of the flat washer and a bore of the crush bushing to deform the crush bushing such that the crush bushing material fills any space between the fastener and the fastener receptacle, thereby creating a zero-play connection to restrict any slight movements generated by shocks and vibrations.

  • Patent number: 6463624
Abstract: A joint structure of a wheel bearing comprises a bearing cover and a pivotal casing. The bearing cover has an outer edge being installed with a plurality of upper sheets which expand outwards; and between two upper sheets are formed with a downward extending lower sheet. The pivotal casing has a top being formed with a yoke; and the yoke is installed with a through hole with respect to the lower sheet. The lower sheet passes through the respective through hole. Thereby, the lower sheet penetrates through the respective through hole and the bottom of the upper sheet resists against the top of the yoke, then the lower sheet bends outwards to press the bottom of the yoke. Therefore, the bearing cover is steadily fixed to the yoke of the pivotal casing. No extra welding is necessary for enhancing the structure.

  • Patent number: 4621849
Abstract: A bumper for the wheel well of a dolly or cart consists of a single element molded of flexible plastic material to include a cap, a lock and a hinge connecting the cap to the lock. The wheel well is adapted to receive a swivel shaft that extends through an aligned aperture in the cap to limit movement of the bumper. Further, movement of the bumper is also restricted by cooperation of the lock and the mounting bracket of which the wheel well is a part. The hinge permits the lock to be reversely bent from a first position in which the bumper is molded to a second position where the lock is captured between the wheel well and ears of the bracket that mounts the wheel well to the cart.
