  • Patent number: 9027295
Abstract: A demountable modular wall system including a series of individual wall panels that can be positioned adjacent to each other. The demountable wall system includes a doorway defined by a pair of spaced vertical posts and a horizontal header. In one embodiment, a sliding glass door is movable along a sliding door track mounted to the horizontal header. A lower trim assembly mounted to the bottom end of the sliding glass door adjusts the overall height of the door. The doorway can also include a pivoting glass door. The pivoting glass door includes a bottom pivot assembly having a bottom clamp adjustably positioned along a bottom end of the pivoting glass door. The adjustable bottom clamp can be moved along the bottom end of the pivoting glass door and receives a pivot pin supported on the floor. A top pivot assembly includes a movable plunger that defines a portion of the pivot axis for the pivoting glass door.

  • Patent number: 8757140
Abstract: An apparatus for use with a commercial grill to increase safety, efficiency, and organization. The apparatus includes a barrier extending upwardly from the cooking surface, and extending along the backsplash of the grill, the barrier having an accessory staging feature along a topmost portion, the topmost portion being at least eight inches above the cooking surface. The accessory staging feature can support one or more accessories. The invention may thereby increase usable grill surface area. The apparatus can also include an attachment assembly for attaching the barrier to a standard backsplash, or the barrier can be an integral extension of the backsplash. The invention substantially reduces the likelihood of ventilation/exhaust well fires. The invention makes cleaning the factory backsplash much easier, because the backsplash is substantially protected from splatter by the invention. The invention substantially protects the stainless steel or tile kitchen back wall from splatter, smoke, grease, and soot.

  • Publication number: 20120325411
Abstract: An adjustable cornice that can expand in width to accommodate window fixtures of various dimensions without necessitating cutting. The adjustable cornice is assembled from a central section that attaches to a set left and right runners. The runners serve as the mounting system for the additional sections that include the plurality of left and right extension sections, and the left and right end sections. The runners traverse through the extension sections. The adjustable cornice conforms to a desired width by adding or removing the extension sections. The runners then traverse into the end sections and a plurality of fasteners are used to affix the runners to the extension sections, the end sections, and the central section. Once the front facing sections are affixed, the side sections are attached to the end sections and brackets are affixed to provide a method of mounting on the walls surrounding a window fixture.

  • Patent number: 6313594
Abstract: A drive system for a partition wall system composed of several individual components which are horizontally movable via rollers or appropriate media at or in a guide rail mounted to a ceiling in a way or technique in which the individual components present separate drive media which convey the corresponding component(s) independently from and/or simultaneously with the other components along the guide rail. A central control unit combined with a microprocessor and several memories is provided and the control unit's output signal transmits data and addresses to all drive media via at least a two-wire connection (databus) simultaneously to activate the individual component's drive media, which allows the individual control and regulation of the individual components and the additional miscellaneous functions for the individual components respectively inside the individual components. Changing of data and addresses is operated by a control terminal.
