  • Patent number: 11786064
Abstract: A zebra curtain comprises a curtain rolling device, an upper rail, two fixing brackets, a lower rail and a curtain sheet. Two ends of the curtain sheet are respectively fixed on the upper rail and the curtain rolling device. The upper rail comprises a first shaft sleeve and a second shaft sleeve. The first shaft sleeve comprises a first protruding shaft, and the second shaft sleeve comprises a bearing, a second protruding shaft, a spring and a positioning piece. The curtain sheet comprises light-transmitting parts and light-impermeable portions arranged at intervals. The second protruding shaft moves inside the bearing by the spring pressing to be separated from the fixing bracket and to take off the zebra curtain, then adjusting the light-transmitting parts and the light-impermeable parts, and releasing the second protruding shaft to be axially connected with the fixing bracket, thereby completing the assembly of the zebra curtain.

  • Patent number: 9447633
Abstract: The present invention discloses a device for rolling up and unrolling a material web (2) on a shaft (1, 15). The device is distinguished by the fact that a first radial spacing (R1) of the material web (2) from a rotational axis of the shaft (1, 15), which first radial spacing (R1) is assigned to any desired unrolled length (L) of the material web (2), differs from a second radial spacing (R2) of a tensioning cable (3, 16) from the rotational axis of the shaft (1, 15), which second radial spacing (R2) is assigned to said unrolled length (L), with the result that the direction and magnitude of a first torque which is exerted on the shaft (1, 15) via the material web (2) differ from those of a second torque which is exerted on the shaft (1, 15) via the tensioning cables (3, 16), in such a way that, on account of the torque difference between the first torque and the second torque, the shaft (1, 15) is driven by a force (F) which is transmitted by means of the tensioning cables (3, 16).

Each stanchion is of annular cross section having an inner or inside surface adapted to receive a cylindrical spool around which is wound the individual tape or line. The free end of each tape has a locking element of triangular configuration adapted to be received in the guide groove of an adjacent post. The spools serve to retract each tape so as to provide continuous tension in the tape that is deployed or extended between its associated stanchion and another such post or stanchion. Each tape extends through a rectangular slot provided for this purpose at vertically spaced locations along the post/stanchion. Corresponding locations in the adjacent guide grooves of each post are provided with fittings that form stops for tapes from other stanchions.

  • Patent number: 7051782
Abstract: A coupling assembly for a multiple-tube roller shade includes a support assembly for rotatably supporting and connecting adjacently located tube-end portions and a clutch mechanism providing relative rotation therebetween. The support assembly includes a tube-end fitting and a torque-transferring drive transfer member contacting the tube. The clutch mechanism includes first and second clutch members respectively engaged and separated in closed and opened positions. A pull bar is translatable within one of the shafts and is moved by a draw pin received in aligned openings of the second clutch member, the shaft and the pull bar. The shaft openings are elongated for movement of the second clutch member between the closed and opened positions. An adjustment member threadedly engages the tube-end fitting for vertical adjustment of the fitting with respect to a support panel. The tube-end fitting is secured to a bracket having elongated openings for horizontal adjustment.

Abstract: An advertising display unit has a blind wound between a pair of spaced rollers rotatably mounted for bringing a selected portion of the blind into a display window area. A mechanism for longitudinally moving the blind is provided which is easily accessed and actuated manually. Each roller comprises an assembly having a larger diameter portion onto which the blind is wound and a smaller diameter portion that rotates with it. A cord drive is secured to and wound a number of turns round the smaller diameter portion of one roller. The cord drive follows a path a section of which extends externally of a housing in which the rollers are mounted. The cord drive passes to the other roller where it is wound a number of turns about and secured to the small diameter portion of the other roller. The cord is wound about the small diameter portion so as to wind off one and onto the other with the rollers rotating in the same direction. The blind serves to transmit drive from the wind-up roller to the wind-off roller.

  • Patent number: 6189592
Abstract: A roll-up shade is doubled and its ends suspended from a head rail that is mounted above a window. One end is attached to a roller tube and the other end is attached to a stationary tube, with a bight being formed between the tubes. A first sheet is defined from the bight to the roller tube and a second sheet is defined from the bight to the stationary tube. A weighty rod is positioned in the bight to cause the bight to sag away from the head rail, and a shade guide surrounds the rod to guide the shade. With this structure, the roller tube can be rotated to pull up the first sheet and raise the bight or to lower the first sheet with bight, with the second sheet (i.e., the sheet that is directly attached to the stationary tube) remaining unmoving above the bight. The shade is patterned such that when the shade is raised and lowered, the relative motion between the two sheets causes the shade to alternatingly assume high and low opacity configurations. The roller tube can be motorized if desired.
