Controlled By Motor Inlet Throttle Valve Patents (Class 173/65)
  • Patent number: 10689143
Abstract: A method for replacing a tag tool needle includes securing at least a portion of a tag tool needle coupled to a tag tool in a needle container; and removing the tag tool needle from the tag tool with the needle container. A tag tool needle container includes a first tubular aperture adapted to receive at least a portion of a first tag tool needle therein, where the first tubular aperture has a compression-fit adapted to securely enclose the portion of the first tag tool needle when urged over the first tag tool needle; and a second tubular aperture coupled to the first tubular aperture and adapted to receive at least a portion of a second tag tool needle therein, where the second tubular aperture has a compression-fit adapted to adapted to securely enclose the portion of the second tag tool needle when urged over the second tag tool needle.

  • Patent number: 5472130
Abstract: A powered machine for inserting an attachment member having a filament with a head at one end through an opening in an article and including a needle which is projected from machine in order to penetrate that article and convey the filament head therethrough, in which the needle is cleaned during each actuation thereof by being wiped and/or having a jet of fluid blown across it, and in which the machine is provided with structure for grasping a tag which is to be penetrated by the needle, holding the tag in position while the needle penetrates it, and permitting the release of the tag after the fastening operation has been completed, all with positiveness and facility of manipulation.

  • Patent number: 4880065
Abstract: A new and improved air motor operated rotary earth drilling tool for use with a source of high pressure, high volume compressed air has a circulation control housing, a motor housing, a reduction gear housing, and a bearing housing connected longitudinally in series. The circulation control housing is connected to high pressure, high volume, compressed air and has an outlet opening into the motor housing, and an exhaust opening for discharge of compressed air for flushing cuttings and debris from a bore hole which is controlled by longitudinal movement of an inlet tube. The motor housing has a motor chamber and a sliding vane rotor with a rotary shaft extending into the reduction gear housing. A planetary reduction gear receives the rotor shaft and has a low speed, high torque output shaft extending into the bearing housing. A passageway conducts compressed air around the planetary reduction gear for cooling.

  • Patent number: 4078728
Abstract: A main body is provided having a fluid passage extending therethrough including inlet and outlet ends. The body further defines a branch passage having an outlet end portion opening outwardly of the body and an inlet end portion opening into an intermediate portion of the main fluid passage. The intermediate portion of the main fluid passage includes structure defining a valve seat therein and a valve body is mounted in the inlet end portion of the branch passage for adjustable positioning therealong and includes a main valve portion opposing the seat and operable to variably throttle the main flow passage upon shifting of the main valve portion toward and away from the seat. The valve body includes a flow passage formed therein having an inlet end opening through the main valve portion and communicating with the main fluid passage intermediate portion and an outlet end communicating with the outlet end portion of the branch passage.
