Abstract: A drilling machine for boring holes in a surface includes a main frame to which a drill gang assembly is rotatably and telescopingly mounted. The drill gang assembly includes a drill support frame supporting a plurality of drills in parallel spaced alignment. The drill gang assembly is mounted on a mast which may be rotated relative to the main frame about a vertical axis up to at least one hundred and eighty degrees. The drill gang assembly is also pivotally mounted relative to the mast to permit pivoting of the drill support frame and attached drills about a horizontal axis.
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a chain driven reciprocating hammer is disclosed. The chain driven reciprocating hammer includes a chain system for lifting a ram to a drop point. The chain system includes a plurality of sprockets and a chain with at least one mesh link to mesh with the ram. Additionally, the chain driven reciprocating hammer includes an adjustable tandem release sprocket mechanism. Also, the chain driven reciprocating hammer includes a center and clamping mechanism configured to secure a work input.

Abstract: Readily available steel “I” beams being strengthened sufficiently (without introducing localised stresses that exacerbate the fatigue difficulty) over at risk regions and particularly adjacent the lower regions of the beam that hitherto have given rise to fatigue difficulties. It is therefore to such a strengthened beam for a post driver or any variant thereof machines made using such a beam, their use and to related methods of strengthening such beams of post drivers.
Abstract: A pile driving system for driving piles into an underwater surface which comprises an elongated two-part housing having a casing disposed within the lower portion of the housing and movable with respect to the housing. The casing has a pile driving hammer assembly disposed within the casing and the casing is independently suspended within the lower portion of the housing whereby the hammer assembly may be engaged with the pile and impart a series of blows to the pile, while the housing remains substantially stationary with respect to the underwater surface.

Abstract: A pile press driver, wherein a composite sheave device is mounted on a leader suspended from a boom fitted to a crane carrying a winch; the composite sheave device is driven by the winch; the one side end portions of a plurality of output wire ropes fixed to the underside of the movable sheave block of said composite sheave device are turned upward by a plurality of reversion sheaves; when the movable sheave block is lifted through operation of the winch, the other side end portions of the output wire ropes connected to a pile through a pair of guide arms and a pile cap are brought down, thereby forcefully driving a pile into the ground.
