    Abstract: A display unit, an electronic device and an assembling method are provided. The electronic device includes a case and a display unit. The case includes a holding compartment. The display unit is accommodated in the holding compartment, and includes a display module, a transparent cover layer and a transparent adhesive tape. The transparent adhesive tape is configured between the display module and the transparent adhesive tape, and the transparent adhesive tape is adhered to the transparent cover layer. The transparent adhesive tape includes a flange portion extending beyond the display module, and the flange portion can be bent to secure the display unit to the case. The second surface is leaned against a back plate. The back plate comprises at least one hole. The flange portion passes through the hole and is bent to attach to a surface of the display module that is farther away from the back plate.

    Abstract: A housing for a scale or load cell controller suitable for use in harsh environments. The housing includes a moisture-resistant front display unit coupled to a rear interface and mounting unit. The front display unit includes a front housing, a back housing, and a frame overlying a boundary or seal region between the front and back housings to provide a double moisture-resistant seal between the front and back housings. The front display unit defines an interior region including a display and a plurality of user input keys and controller circuitry. The front display unit is removably attachable to the rear interface unit. A moisture-resistant seal is also provided between the front display unit and the rear interface and mounting unit. The rear interface and mounting unit defines a recessed area supporting a battery pack, a power supply and an interface circuit board.

    Abstract: A weighing apparatus including a load receiving platform, a dial, and a moving indicator. The dial includes a face bearing various indicia for indicating the weight of a load placed upon the platform. A magnifier is operatively associated with the indicator for magnifying only a limited portion of the face of the dial in proximity to the indicator. A lamp, carried by the indicator, illuminates a limited portion of the face of the dial in proximity to the indicator. A switch actuates the lamp upon placement of a load upon the platform.
