  • Patent number: 10907367
Abstract: An adjustable scaffolding tunnel assembly. The assembly includes a first pair of posts connected on upper and lower portions thereof to a second pair of posts via grooved members. A first cross beam is positioned between the first pair of posts, and a second cross beam is positioned between the second pair of posts. A plurality of support beams is disposed between the first and second cross beams. The first and second pairs of posts are vertically adjustable, and the first and second cross beams and the support beams are laterally adjustable. In this manner, a height and a width of the assembly are individually adjustable. The adjustable scaffolding tunnel assembly can hold one or more isolation members, such as wood or drywall, to isolate an interior of the assembly from an exterior of the assembly.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for manufacturing and using segmented and integrated solutions for scaffold extensions are disclosed. An example embodiment comprises: a standard scaffold support component including at least one post element; and a scaffold extension including a runner element and a bracing element coupled to the post element of the standard scaffold support component to produce a modified scaffold support component with a scaffold extension. The scaffold extension can be a one-sided scaffold extension or a two-sided scaffold extension. The scaffold extension can be coupled to the post element of the standard scaffold support component with a hinged and swingable coupling. The scaffold extension can be integrated into the post element of the standard scaffold support component. The scaffold extension can be integrated into a retrofit scaffold support component configured to be coupled to the standard scaffold support component.

  • Patent number: 8813432
Abstract: A construction apparatus for use within an elevator hoistway is provided. The construction apparatus includes span members, each span member having a first end, a second end and a length. Sill attachments are connected to the first end of the span members. The sill attachments are configured to rotate about and seat against a building sill. A support member connected to the second end of the span members. The support members are configured to seat against a second side of the elevator hoistway. The length of the span members is longer than a horizontal distance from the building sill to the second side of the elevator hoistway such that the span members rest in an inclined orientation with respect to a substantially horizontal axis. One or more platforms is supported by one or more forms, the platforms arranged such as to provide a working platform within the elevator hoistway.

  • Patent number: 8657072
Abstract: The design is for a sawhorse with a collapsible support platform to support material that is being cut-off or worked on. The support platform keeps the material that is being cut from falling and/or splintering at the end of the cut and reduces or eliminates the need for an addition person to support the portion of the material being cut-off or for the person doing the cutting to attempt to hold the material being cut-off with one hand while cutting with the other and creating an unsafe condition. The sawhorse with support platform does not necessarily eliminate the need for a second sawhorse to support the opposite end of the material being cut or worked on. The sawhorse can be provided with the platform on both sides to provide additional cutting or material support surface which may then eliminate the need for a second sawhorse. Additionally the cutting support platform can be provided as a separate accessory that can be mounted to various manufactures' available sawhorses.

  • Publication number: 20030047385
Abstract: This invention contemplates a combination and method involving mounting specially designed plates and/or mounting apparatus against and on the standard vertical column used in construction of office structures or other structures including bridges. The plates have a clamping mechanism designed to fit around or on the vertical column. A lower and upper plate are mounted. The plates have a protrusions onto which are mounted a bracket with holes fitting on the protrusions. The bracket is secured with a cotter pin. The brackets project outside the eventual skin of a building and deck planks or pics can be mounted on the brackets. The mobile outrigger scaffolding system allows workmen to safely walk and work on the deck planks to perform work on a floor-by-floor basis. The system can be dissembled quickly and moved to another part of the same floor, to a new floor, and can be used around the outside corner of a structure or from an overhang or from a horizontal beam.
