    Abstract: A crib structure for a child includes a support surface for the child. A plurality of side walls are operatively connected to the support surface. At least one of the side walls includes a door opening and at least one door. The door is laterally slidable substantially in the direction to and from an adjacent side wall, such that the child can be quietly and easily placed into and taken the crib through the door opening without substantial bending or reaching. The sidewalls and the support surface define an interior space therebetween and an exterior space surrounding the sidewalls. At least one of the side walls is preferably composed of a material which is substantially flexible to forces directed substantially from the interior, and substantially rigid to forces directed substantially from the exterior. Step structure is preferably provided beneath the support surface.

    Abstract: It comprises a frame which consists of two stringers joined by a plurality of spaced bars, which are articulated by at least an intermediate area which allows the take down of a track against the contiguous one to fold the frame, through one end they are articulated to some supporting feet fastened on the floor which correspond to the area of the head of a bed, on which frame is supported the framework of a bedspring or similar which supports the corresponding mattress. The frame may adopt two main positions, a horizontal and folded position to act as a bed, and a vertical extended position to act as exercise frame for the practice of gymnastics.

    Abstract: A fire escape unit for installation in buildings such as hospitals includes a hinged platform upon which a movable load such as a bed to be evacuated in an emergency is mounted. The hinged end of the platform is adjacent a hinged portion of an external wall of the building and in the event of a fire the hinged platform is released to adopt an outwardly sloping position and the external wall portion hinged outwards to form an inclined ramp, on to which the bed rolls from the platform, the platform lifting to fill the aperture in the external wall after the bed has passed through to minimize the ingress of air.

    Abstract: A portable tree stand which can be used for hunting or other purposes and which can be pushed to any desired height with the use of a pole which fits into a receptacle and includes a pair of rollers mounted at an angle on one side of the tree and a roller locking claw on the other side of the tree which locks the stand at the desired height. A ladder extends downwardly from the stand and allows the hunter to climb up to the stand after which the ladder can be pulled upwardly to the stand to make into a chair. Heating means as well as gun and bow and arrow holding means are provided on the stand. Also, the stand can be used as a back pack, as a chair, a cot, a table or a litter for carrying injured persons, or when desired, for toting heavy loads.
