Measuring Valve Patents (Class 184/83)
  • Patent number: 6247556
Abstract: The present invention discloses screw bolt and nut with lubricant oil contained ball bush bearing. There is a deep oil storage hole formed in the nut parallel to axial direction of the bolt for storing the lubricant oil. An oil nipple or an oil packing is provided at one end of the deep oil storage hole for preventing leakage of the lubricant oil. A threaded oil dripping hole intersecting the deep oil storage hole with an oil containing member therein is formed in the nut thereby causing the lubricant oil to drip gradually into the spiral grooves and lubricate the rolling balls thereof. The oil containing member can be made of felt, wool, cotton (cloth or thread) or the like. Furthermore, an oil adjusting screw is provided with the oil dripping hole for controlling the flow rate of lubricant oil into the spiral grooves.

  • Patent number: 5875871
Abstract: A pump apparatus for a milking machine is provided with a distribution device for the supply of lubricant to the bearings of the pump. The distribution device comprises an inlet for the supply of lubricant from a container, a distributor and at least two outlets for the delivery of lubricant to the different bearings of the pump. The distributor is provided to guide the lubricant, independently of the incoming amount thereof such that the lubricant is equally distributed to each outlets and hence to each bearing.

  • Patent number: 5407026
Abstract: Apparatus for installing grips on golf club shafts includes a grip lubricating device and a golf club shaft lubricating device. The grip lubricating device utilizes a wick which wipes against an inner surface of a grip. The wick is wettable by a lubricant that is held in a container. The golf club shaft lubricating device utilizes an absorbent, sponge-like liner that wipes against an outer surface of one end of a golf club shaft. Control valves regulate flow of lubricant from the container so that a controlled amount of lubricant is applied to the inner surface of the grip and to the outer surface of the one end of the golf club shaft.

  • Patent number: 4159047
Abstract: A liquid-oil feeder is provided for supplying various metered amounts of oil to a plurality of regions. The feeder has a tank of oil and an oil pick-up chamber reciprocating in and out of the supply of oil. The chamber contacts a transfer plate and a longitudinally adjustable rod displaces the oil from the chamber to the transfer plate. The metered amount of oil then flows from the transfer plate through a spout to an outlet leading to an oil line for carrying the oil to the various regions. A plurality of such chambers and transfer plates, displaced as a unit and each associated with a separate adjustable rod and outlet, may be provided. The feeder is capable of supplying oil in a continuous flow of droplets and also has flushing apparatus for supplying a stream of oil to various regions.

  • Patent number: 4096924
Abstract: An oiler assembly is disclosed for feeding a relatively precise and consistent lubrication. The assembly includes a supply of the lubricant and a flow line placing the supply in communication with the lubrication point. A metering valve is interposed in the flow line and generally comprises a body having an inlet and an outlet. The body further includes a bore having one end thereof in communication with the inlet and the other end thereof in communication with the outlet. A porous rod is disposed in the bore of the body. A sealing member is disposed in the bore to preclude the passage of lubricant from the inlet end to the outlet end of the bore except by passage through said porous rod.
