Indicates Particular One Of Plural Load Supports Responding Patents (Class 187/398)
  • Patent number: 11091350
Abstract: Elevator systems having an elevator car having a first elevator car door and an audio orientation system. The audio orientation system includes an audio system controller, at least one first speaker positioned proximate the first elevator car door, and at least one second speaker positioned in the elevator car opposite the first elevator car door. When the first elevator car door opens, the audio system controller controls the at least one first speaker and the at least one second speaker such that an audio orientation output is generated at at least one of the speakers to indicate that the first elevator car door is open.

  • Patent number: 9327940
Abstract: An elevator system includes a control for controlling an elevator into an idle state and/or for cancelling the idle state. The elevator system is configured to receive data from a control circuit external to the elevator system, and the control is arranged to form a control command for controlling the elevator into an idle state and/or for cancelling the idle state on the basis of data received from a control circuit external to the elevator system.

  • Patent number: 7021429
Abstract: An elevator system includes a hall operation panel in an elevator hall and from which a destination floor is input; a group control which assigns a car to be stopped at the destination floor input from the hall operation panel; hall lanterns in the elevator hall for respective cars and informing passengers of assigned cars; and destination floor indicators in the elevator hall for respective cars and indicating destination floors, so that when a destination floor is input from the hall operation panel, the hall lantern corresponding to a car assigned by the group control is lit, and the destination floor indicator corresponding to the car assigned by the group control indicates the destination floor. As a result, the passenger can ascertain at a glance the car he is to get on and always be sure of the car he is to get on until the car arrives, so that the passenger is advantageously enabled to wait for the arrival of the car without experiencing any anxiety.

  • Patent number: 5565661
Abstract: An elevator operational status indicating element includes a base plate with opposed bent ends mounted on a wall by screws. Pins are provided on the lower side wall of a housing open at the wall side to couple the housing with the lower bent end of the base plate. Setscrews are provided on the upper side wall of the housing to couple the housing with the upper bent end of the base plate. In the front wall of the housing an opening is provided into which a filter plate is set. Threaded bolts, attached near the opening on an inner face of the front wall of the housing, and nuts retain a lens carrier which is pressed against the filter plate. A printed circuit board in the lens carrier carries luminescent diodes in the form of a symbol to be displayed by light transmitted through a lens formed in the lens carrier to the filter plate.

  • Patent number: 5460118
Abstract: A modular signal device which fills the need of the elevator industry for differing types of signal devices wherein a surface mounted base plate includes turned up small ends, with a cover ring surrounding the base plate and utilizing a bolt at one small end and an adjusting screw on the other small end to rearwardly retain the turned up ends, with the cover ring including an inner collar which carries and retains a cover plate, with the cover plate including at least one opening and concentrically arranged second threaded bolts in order to receive switching elements such a push buttons, with first threaded bolts serving to attach the cover plate onto the collar of the cover ring. In further embodiments, the cover plate takes the form of lenses with filters, grids or arrow masks which serve to outwardly convey the signals produced by the signal devices attached to the collar.

  • Patent number: 5433295
Abstract: An indicating element for an elevator includes a cover plate having an opening formed therein through which a lens extends. Positioned behind the lens is a light diffuser having an area formed in the shape of a symbol to be displayed. A plurality of light emitting diodes are mounted on a front surface of a printed circuit board and the diodes extend into the diffuser. The front surface of the printed circuit board, as well as the side walls of the diffuser are white to achieve a better light reflection. The lens, the diffuser and the printed circuit board are mounted on studs extending from a rear surface of the cover plate and are retained by nuts. The light emitting diodes are connected together in separate groups with a first switch for connecting the groups in series to a higher voltage alternating current power supply and a second switch for connecting the groups in parallel to a lower voltage direct current power supply.
