    Abstract: A lubricating arrangement for an end guide of a railcar truck mounted brake rigging includes at least one elongated groove provided in the at least one surface of the end guide in open communication therewith, the elongated groove having a length thereof disposed generally transverse to a direction of the sliding reciprocal movement of the end guide. A lubricating member is secured within the at least one elongated groove, the lubricating member has a thickness portion thereof protruding, a predetermined height at initial installation, above the at least one surface of the end guide. The predetermined height of the protruding thickness portion is reduced during the reciprocal movement of the end guide within the channel or pocket so that material removed from the predetermined height during the reciprocal movement substantially resurfaces the at least one surface of the end guide.

    Abstract: A bicycle suspension control apparatus includes a user operating device and a control device. The control device is operatively coupled to the user operating device to selectively control a front bicycle suspension between a plurality of operating states and a rear bicycle suspension between a plurality of operating states. The control device is configured to selectively change the operating states of both the front and rear bicycle suspensions to different ones of the operating states in response to a single operation of the user operating device. The control device controls the front and rear bicycle suspensions such that a first operating state change operation of one of the front and rear bicycle suspensions occurs later than a second operating state change operation of the other of the front and rear bicycle suspensions.

The rod operates a lever mounted to the other beam which engages the actuation rod of the vehicle's pneumatic braking system, thereby operating the linkage included in the pneumatic system to separate the beams, bringing the brake pads into contact with the wheels to brake the wheels.

    Abstract: The brake beams of a single axle railway car wheel truck are swingingly suspended from a body portion of the car and engage with the axle housings of the wheel and axle assembly to enable the brake beams to move laterally and longitudinally with the wheel and axle assembly when this assembly is forced to move with respect to the body portion of the car. Movement of the brake beams with the wheel and axle assembly enables the brake heads on the brake beams to be properly aligned with braking surfaces on the wheels under substantially all operating conditions of the wheel truck even though substantially all of the weight of the brake beam and actuator assemblies is borne by the body portion of the railway car.
