Abstract: A gaming environment, in which a payout corresponding to a selection item selected by a player is provided, is described. Especially a gaming environment, in which in the second stage screen, when a symbol of “STRAWBERRY” is displayed on the position of the treasure boxes 101 which is in an open state, the game is proceeded to the final stage form the second stage based on that the player touches the next stage button 103B though the touch panel 11, the open and close states of each treasure box 101 on the final stage screen becomes the same as those on the second stage screen, is described.

The monthly calendar is made of a dry-erase board displaying a month grid that is filled in with erasable ink for any particular month. The chart is a grid used to permanently record and display birth dates and other annual dates such as anniversaries and holidays. The chart displays columns intersected by rows. The columns are grouped in twelve sets of two having a month column adjacent to a year column. The rows display the dates of each month down the left side of the chart, numbered from 1–31. An event is recorded in the chart by writing the event's name in the appropriate month and date space and the year in the adjacent year space.

Abstract: The position of the gripper unit in a combing machine is monitored, and when the machine is to be halted its stoppage is controlled such that the machine halts always and only when the gripper unit is at its point of maximum opening or maximum closeness to the grabbing rollers. A position sensor (35) is associated for example with the rocker arm (18) which operates the gripper unit and provides pulses at each rocking movement of the arm (18). When the machine motor (27) is to be halted a braking action is produced by a brake (36) after a predetermined time or after measuring a certain number of pulses from the sensor (35) or on measuring a determined time interval between pulses, so as to effectively halt the machine with the gripper unit open.
