  • Publication number: 20130000081
Abstract: A drawing frame (1) is described for drawing a fibre slubbing (14) of a workstation of a textile machine having two roller pairs (2, 3) which are arranged behind one another in the transport direction (A) and in each case contain a drafting roller (4; 6) which can be driven, wherein the first drafting roller (4) in the transport direction (A) is assigned a guide apron (8) which wraps around this drafting roller (4) and a guide table (10) which is arranged between the first (4) and the second (6) drafting roller. It is provided according to the invention that the first drafting roller (4) is mounted in a bearing slide (19) which can be displaced in the transport direction (A), and the second drafting roller (6) is mounted in a bearing block (22), and that the guide table (10) is fixed on the bearing block (22) of the second drafting roller (6).

  • Publication number: 20080295293
Abstract: In the case of an apparatus on a spinning preparation machine, e.g. a draw frame, flat card, combing machine or the like, in particular a double-head draw frame, with at least two driven drafting systems having force-transmitting means for driving drafting rollers of the drafting systems and at least one drive motor, a coupling is present between a drive motor and a drive shaft. To allow the effectiveness and efficiency to be substantially increased in a structurally simple and cost-effective manner, the respective drive chains are connected via a respective controllable coupling to the motor and the rotational speed of the motor can be reduced for the engagement and disengagement process.

  • Patent number: 5809762
Abstract: A spinning plant machine has a basic drafting equipment body to receive drafting equipment which has at least two pairs of rollers, whereby each pair is constituted by an upper roller and a lower roller. A device for the adjustment of the distance between the pairs of rollers is in the form of a push rod which is coupled to the bearing arrangement of the lower rollers as well as to fix the support of the lower rollers on the basic drafting equipment body. The push rods can be adjusted with precise parallelism and position.

  • Patent number: 5619773
Abstract: The instant invention relates to a process for the adjustment of a drafting unit of a draw frame. The drafting unit is equipped with drafting rollers (5, 5') supported in a pillow block (4, 4'). The pillow block (4, 4') is installed on a table (10). The height of the table (10) is adjusted by a first set of adjusting devices and the pitch of the table (10) is adjusted by a second set of adjusting device in relation to the frame (2). The table (10) is installed between the pillow block (4, 4') and the frame (2) for the positional adjustment of the pillow block (4, 4').

  • Patent number: 5477591
Abstract: A bearing device for use in textile drafting roller pairs for supporting the top roller of a drafting roller pair. The bearing device finds particular use with magnetic drafting rollers, but can be used with other types of roller configurations. The bearing device allows for the top roller to be selectively positioned with respect to the bottom roller in order to allow removal of the top roller and to prevent deformation of cots or aprons provided thereon during machine stoppage. A rotating debris excluding interface is also provided through interaction of the bearing device and the end of a roller. Handles are attached to the bearing device for allowing extraction of the top roller from a roller pair, and ribs may be provided on the bearing device or receptacle therefor to facilitate piecing up of a broken yarn. Related methods of use of the bearing device are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5303454
Abstract: In the case of a textile machine comprising drafting units that are disposed next to one another, the bottom cylinders are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the machine so that they continue along several or all drafting units. The continuous bottom cylinders are disposed at several bearing points which are arranged at a spacing from one another in the longitudinal direction of the machine. It is provided, in the case of the delivery bottom cylinder, to design at least some of the bearing points such that they can be radially adjusted. As a result, radial directional deviations of the delivery bottom cylinder can be compensated which occur along its longitudinal dimension.

  • Patent number: 4593438
Abstract: In a spinning machine with a plurality of adjacently disposed drawing or drafting roller arrangements with which the lower rollers are arranged as lower roller cylinders extending in the machine longitudinal direction, a central control device and adjusting arrangement is provided for the adjustment of the distance of the lower roller cylinders. The central control device is linked to several locations at a lower roller cylinder or to several bearing seats of a lower roller cylinder, whereby all bearing seats of this lower roller cylinder are loosened at guide holders whereby then the bearing seats and the lower roller cylinder are simultaneously brought into the desired position by activating the control device. When in the adjusted position the bearing seats are again fixedly attached to the guide holders.
