Abstract: A containment system for enclosing and moving heavy equipment, such as air conditioning or water heater components is disclosed. The containment system includes a bag component and a plurality of handles and/or straps. The handles and/or straps are arranged so that workers can easily maneuver heavy equipment into and out of confined spaces, such as an attic. The containment system also prevents damage to structures, such as the interior of a house while moving such heavy equipment.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for rotationally coupling housing portions of an information handling system. An information handling system may include a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing portion. The information handling system may also include a hinge assembly coupling the first housing portion and the second housing portion, the hinge assembly including a first hinge, a second hinge, and a deformable foam, the first hinge, the second hinge, and the deformable foam may allow the hinge assembly to bend when the first housing portion is rotated in relation to the second housing portion. In addition, the information handling system may include a flexible display coupled to the first housing portion and the second housing portion, the flexible display to be placed over the first housing portion, the second housing portion, and the hinge assembly and configured to bend when the hinge assembly bends.

A releasable fastener on each of the pair of end walls may be used for releasably holding one of the pair of end walls in a gusseted position.

Abstract: The luggage with integrated vacuum bags includes a standard piece of luggage that includes at least one vacuum bag within said piece of luggage. The vacuum bags are vacuumed via a vacuuming means integrated on a side of said luggage, which engages a male valve located on an exterior surface of said luggage and of which engages a female valve located on a vacuum bag. The vacuum bags are filled with items typically associated with luggage (garments, etc.) in anticipation of vacuuming, which increases the packing efficiency of the luggage such that more items may be packed into said luggage than when compared with luggage excluding said vacuum bags. The vacuuming means includes a hose, motor, and powering means and vacuums the vacuum bag(s) from outside of said luggage.

Abstract: A travel bag includes a bag body defining a front open side, a cover panel covered on the front open side of the bag body, a first zipper joining the cover panel and the bag body, a locating panel mounted in a center opening in the cover panel, a connection frame stitched to the locating panel, a sub cover panel hinged to the bottom side of the connection flap, a second zipper joining the sub cover panel and the locating panel, a partition panel set in a center opening in the connection frame, a third zipper joining the connection frame and the partition panel, and two fan-like expandable side flats bilaterally connected between the connection frame and the sub cover panel.

Abstract: A protective cover for natural fiber apparel to protect the apparel from moths, moth larvae, and other pests is disclosed. The protective cover encloses not only natural fiber apparel, but also a hanger from which the apparel is hung. A substantial portion of the protective cover is made from a fabric that prevents moths and other insects from penetrating the protective cover and depositing eggs or consuming the apparel therein. At the same time, this fabric allows air to travel therethrough. A window is incorporated into the body of the protective cover to allow users to view the one or more apparel items protected by the protective cover. The protective cover also includes a zipper along its outer edge to allow access to the apparel contained within.

Abstract: Transferable organizers provide stabilization and ease of location for objects carried in handbags and other bags. The organizers may be independently usable and freestanding, and may be inserts inside an existing bag. At least some walls of the organizer are substantially rigid to protect the contents, make the organizer freestanding, or to conform to the dimensions of the existing bag. At least one wall of each organizer may be expandable by means of an expansion panel that can be stowed when expansion is not needed using a fastener, such as a zipper, snap, or magnetic connection. Expansion panels enable adjustment of the width, length, or height of the organizer. A eyeglass case includes an inwardly extending lip that curls over the lens of the glasses and is adjacent a rigid front section. A shoe organizer includes a cushion flap and a stabilizing flap that protects and positions the shoes.

Abstract: An interchangeable handbag system includes a stand alone foundation handbag having an inner storage accommodating surface and an outer decorative surface. The foundation handbag may have regions, such as a hollow interior, front panel, a rear panel and a bottom panel connected by at least one edge to form a hollow container open at a top end thereof. Alternately the foundation handbag may be a simple flexible open-top container with a closed bottom, where the hollow interior, front and rear regions are part of the continuous container. The handbag system includes one or more reversible and/or non-reversible outer slip covers that fit over the foundation bag in a nested arrangement. The slip covers may fit over all and/or alternately a portion of the foundation bag and/or another slip cover. The slip covers and foundation bag are connected by one and/or multiple fastening structures.

Abstract: A luggage piece which provides a slim profile in a closed position and a larger opening in an open position when compared to a similar article without features according to this invention. The luggage piece includes at least one gusset, positioned along a side of the luggage piece, which is folded in the closed position and releases and/or expands in the open position to provide a larger opening and thus greater access to a storage space.

Abstract: A zipper for a luggage includes a first tape, a second tape and interlockable teeth. The first tape has a shielding section for covering an end edge of a first half shell of the luggage, and a mounting section and an extension section connected with the shielding section respectively. The second tape has a shielding section for covering an end edge of a second half shell of the luggage, and a mounting section and an extension section connected with the shielding section of the second tape respectively. The teeth are mounted on the extension sections of the first and second tapes in two rows. By means of using the zipper in production of the luggage, the process of making the luggage can be simplified and the zipper can be well aligned with the half shells of the luggage, enhancing the yield rate in production of the luggage.

Abstract: A dual compartment, dual open mouth tool bag is fabricated from flexible material forming the side and top panels of the bag and the dual access openings. Each of the separate open mouth openings provides separate access to an individual compartment within the bag. The compartments may, in an alternative embodiment, be connected one to the other or may be separated by an intermediate open top storage compartment.

Abstract: Luggage cases that are sized and shaped to be carried on to the passenger compartment of a commercial airplane are called carry-on luggage cases. Cases small enough to fit below the passenger seat 28 immediately in front of the traveler must be very small and compact and generally interfere with comfortable placement of the passenger's feet during travel. The disclosed luggage case 2 includes a tapering reinforced portion 22 of the main packing door 18 on which a passenger may wish to place or rest his or her feet during travel. This main packing door 18 is constructed to bend and open to give access to a specially designed slanting shelf area 12 where a bottled drink 16 or cosmetics can be easily accessed without removing the case 2 from its stowed position beneath the front passenger seat 28.

The bag comprises a bottom portion comprising a first bottom area and a flap area. The flap area which zips or otherwise removably secures to the top edge of each of two ends and the front side of the bag. The first bottom areas secured to the bottom edge of the two ends and the front side. When the flap is in a first position extending outwardly from said end bottom edges, it forms an area adapted to receive hanging garments. Upright flaps attached to the side edges of the end sections removably secure to one another to form a wall parallel to the front side section and define a packing area which may receive for example folded garments.

Abstract: The collapsible balikbayan box apparatus is especially suited to surrounding and transporting a square cornered cardboard balikbayan box. The pliable ends, front, and back provide for collapse when the apparatus is not laden. The top is permanently affixed to the back and removably affixed to the two ends and the front. A unique hook latch provides for latch and release via stretching the pliable front and top. The rigid, removable bottom insert provides greater apparatus rigidity in use. Partially recessed wheels are fitted to the bottom. Straps encircle the bottom and extend up a majority of the sides, where the straps and handles are reinforced, so that the apparatus can be pulled or carried by the straps.

The closing member is movable between a first position, which allows access to the interior space of the body through the opening, and a second position which prevents access to the interior space of the body through the opening. The bag includes a handle and a lockable member connected to the body. The handle includes at least one removable end. The lockable member is adapted to secure and lock the closing member and the removable end of the handle to the body when the closing member is moved to the second position to protect the bag and the items contained in the bag from being taken.

Abstract: Soft-sided luggage having means for preventing unauthorized access through the zipper is disclosed herein. Preferred means for preventing unauthorized access through the zipper include a rigid barrier attached internally to a first side of the luggage, positioned alongside and extending to the length of the zipper track, and extending past the plane of the zipper towards the second side of the luggage. Further security features can also be used with soft luggage provided herein, including padlocks, and flaps crossing the zipper plane, for example.

Abstract: The invention relates to an article carrier and, more specifically, to a customizable and modifiable article carrier built from a plurality of zipper strips. Each strip includes two bands of flexible material adjoined along an adjacent edge. The opposing edges of the bands have a toothed edge operable to lock to a toothed edge on an adjoining strip via a zipping mechanism. A plurality of strips are combined to form an article carrier compartment with optional closures and carrying straps.

Abstract: A tool storage bag is provided for storing tools and accessories at a work site. The tool storage bag is formed with soft sides and has external expandible pockets to accept a variety of tools and accessories. In one version, the bag has an A-frame opening which presents an unobstructed opening in the open position for receiving larger tools such as a circular saw. In another version, the tool bag has a rectangular opening which is spanned by a rigid handle with end portions which are attached to selected opposing sidewalls of the bag. The rigid handle accommodates heavier loads and adds increased stability to the bag construction.

The second attachment interface is configured to be mated with the first attachment interface to removably attach the backpack to the luggage case. Abstract: A slide fastener and related pull are disclosed. The pull is formed of an elongate strip of material defining a handle portion between a first end and an opposite second end. The first end of the pull is attached to the article bearing an elongate set of engaging structures for the slide fastener. A slide for operably engaging the set of engaging structures is attached to the pull toward the opposite second end. Accordingly, the handle portion forms an easily graspable quasi-pull chord for opening and closing the pull fastener. In a preferred embodiment, a tab portion of the pull extends from the slide attachment point on the pull to the second end of the pull, and it is detachably secured to the article when the slide fastener is in its closed position. Accordingly, the pull itself can be used as a storage device to hang objects such as a towel, a pair of shoes or the like therefrom. The pull can also serve as a protective cover for the pull fastener and have surface ornamentation thereon.

By the action of the second zipper, the expandable section is expanded outwards and closed inwards like a sector so as to increase the receiving volume for the truck. As the legs of the luggage piece are moved outwards as much as possible so as to have a large distance with the corner wheels, thereby, a preferred stability being acquired.

When this section of the bag is unzipped, the faces of said front and interior walls are exposed and permit a user to obtain various handbag items from pockets attached to said faces. The bag may be carried in the hand or over the shoulder as a result of a loop and ring arrangement which are connected by an adjustable strap and buckle arrangement. Other sections of the bag contain loop and ring arrangements for rapidly obtaining keys, a pager, a cosmetic pouch or the like. By virtue of the present invention, all contents of the inventive bag can be easily and quickly accessed by a user with one easy motion, while the bag is on or off his shoulder, without placing the bag on a flat surface. The inventive bag contains a foldable flap located at the bottom of the bag which provides a bottom wall to the bag when the zipper is unzipped.

Abstract: A security device for a slide fastener, including a housing adapted to be fitted to an object to which the slide fastener is attached, the housing substantially surrounding the slider of the slide fastener in its fully closed position, a closure member adapted to cooperate with the housing which, in use, covers the slider to prevent access thereto and a frangible locking element adapted to link the housing to the closure member, the locking element being resiliently yieldable and slidably insertable into the closure member but not retractable therefrom without fracturing the frangible locking element. The closure member is attached at one end to a puller and the puller is attached to the slider. In a preferred embodiment the closure member can pivot about the housing and block withdrawal of the slider from the housing in its closed position.
