Abstract: Workpieces that generate pressure by an extrusion media (6, 6a) and are deformed in this way for the secure connection of components (7, 8). In particular, an extrusion billet which comprises an extrudable material or material mixture in the interior thereof, which can be reversibly compressed by a compression die (4) penetrating into the material, such that billet can expand in diameter by increasing the internal pressure in the billet, which leads to a very secure, but reversible press fitting of the different types of components to be connected, in particular of shaft-hub connections for mechanical engineering.
Abstract: The disclosed invention modifies existing centrifugal pump design by replacing a compression seal with a mechanical seal and lubricant reservoir. The mechanical seal creates a sealed chamber to lubricate the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is covered in a shaft sleeve that facilitates the flow of lubricant to and from the sealed chamber. This improvement provides independent lubrication to the centrifugal pump to protect against seal failure.
Abstract: A forming system that forms a metal pipe by expansion in a die includes a heater that heats at least an end part of a metal pipe material, a fluid supply unit that supplies a fluid into the metal pipe material to expand the metal pipe material, and a controller that controls the heater and the fluid supply unit, the fluid supply unit has a nozzle that supplies the fluid from the end part of the metal pipe material into the metal pipe material, and the controller controls the heater so as to heat the end part of the metal pipe material at least before the supply of the fluid by the fluid supply unit, and controls the fluid supply unit so as to expand the end part of the metal pipe material.
