Abstract: A through the flowline or "TFL" tool selector has a base provided with a number of spaced flowline ports and a diverter tube shiftably mounted in a housing for selective communication with the flowline ports. The diverter tube is actuated by a reciprocable and rotatable piston and cam drive which shifts the diverter tube progressively from one flowline port to another. The piston is shiftable in a cylinder to which pressure fluid is supplied and then exhausted to effect actuation of the cam drive.
Abstract: The invention relates to a vertical cylindrical furnace for the incineration of residual liquids, equipped with a rotary injector, said latter being more particularly constituted by a plurality of elements including an adjustable nozzle-holder. The adjustment of the angle of rotation of the nozzle-holder and the setting of the aperture of the nozzle make is possible, in one manoeuvre, to adjust the jet of liquid to be incinerated so that optimal use is made of the drying surface. Furthermore, the equipment of the furnace with a vault enables the drying surface to be increased with respect to a conventional cupola furnace. The invention finds particular application in furnaces for incinerating black liquor from paper mills.
Abstract: A rotary grain distribution system includes a distributor having a grain filling chute and an air exhausting chute rotatably positioned within a housing and each terminating at one end in an annular cover and indexing ring. The indexing ring is positioned in proximity with the open ends of a plurality of chutes extending from the lower end of the distributor to grain storage bins below for selectively coupling the grain filling and exhaust chutes to one of a plurality of storage bins while sealing off the remaining bins. A ratchet and pawl drive mechanism coupled between the housing and the indexing ring provides a positive drive for accurately aligning the indexing ring and grain and exhaust chutes to the chutes extending to the storage bins. A cyclone precipitator has an intake coupled to the exhausting chute for evacuating air from a grain bin as it is being filled and collecting and returning the particulate matter to the supply of grain.
Abstract: A coin storing and transfer device comprising a base open at its top and forming a box-like receiving container. An endless conveyor comprising a frame and a continuous belt is mounted having a portion within the receiving container and a portion extending upwardly above the level of the base to a remote height. That portion of the conveyor above the base is pivoted about a fulcrum extending transversely along the upper edge of the base adjacent one end. In this manner the upper portion of the conveyor is movable between its extending position and a folded position horizontally over the top of the base.
