    Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for joining pipe sections on or along side a pipeline right-of-way. The apparatus comprises a main frame and one or more telescoping subframes. The two pipe sections are supported in a first position where their ends are beveled. The two pipe sections are moved to a second position where they are pushed together, held in place with a clamp, and rolled while a welding head joins the two pipe sections. The joined pipe sections are moved to a third position to await removal from the apparatus by a crane. In the meantime, pipe sections are continually loaded and unloaded from the apparatus so that pipe sections can be joined on a continuous basis. The subframe telescopes into and out of the main frame to support a pipe section thereon. Road wheels and tractor wheels are provided on the main frame to allow the apparatus to be transported and positioned along the pipeline right-of-way in inaccessible and remote locations.

Furthermore, the driving chains are provided with evenly distributed latitudinal pushing boards. The fore section of the conveyor body is provided with a support footing for conveying height adjustment, and the resilience of an U-shaped bracing strip at the ground end of the support footing is utilized for locking the support footing on the two sides of the conveyor body, when not used, for storage purposes.

    Abstract: A wheel assembly extends from both of the auger braces to the ground and is adjustable by means of a jack, in order to lift the lower end of the auger assembly clear of the ground or to raise the wheel assembly when the auger assembly is being towed. A source of power drives the wheel assembly and thus supplies power to the wheel assembly when it is engaged upon the ground so that the auger can be moved by an operator. The wheel assembly is steerable by an off-standing handle thus enabling the auger assembly to be steered into position relative to a grain bin, for example, or relative to a towing vehicle when it is desired to tow the grain auger. The source of power may be hydraulically driven by the auger assembly engine in a hydraulic motor operatively connected to the wheel axle and the jack may be mechanical or hydraulic.

    Abstract: A side mover wheel for conveyors used during operation of the conveyor so that the conveyor can be moved laterally at the delivery end in a manner independent of the movement of the receiving end. The invention overcomes the problem of re-positioning a receiving vehicle beneath the delivery end of a conveyor as the receiving end of the conveyor sweeps across the face of the supply pile of any particulate material which is to be transferred to the vehicle. The conveyor has a supporting structure for supporting a central portion of the conveyor. The aforementioned wheel is vertically adjustable and is located directly below the central portion. A lowering device is mounted on the supporting structure and is able to lower the wheel to a first position where the wheel engages the ground and to lift the wheel to a second position above the ground. The axis of the wheel is disposed in a vertical plane parallel to the length of the conveyor.

A hopper is provided together with a frame for permitting the hopper to straddle and attach to the conveyor. An auger is floatably mounted for rotation within and near the bottom of the hopper. The hopper and conveyor are movably mounted on wheels. Means for mounting at least one of the wheels is provided by which the attitude of at least one wheel mounting means may be varied in relation to the hopper and conveyor. The auger operates to drive cementious materials from the ends of the hopper toward the center and then to discharge the cementious material through a discharge opening at the bottom and onto the conveyor belt without plugging the hopper.
