  • Patent number: 11977050
Abstract: An analysis unit 111 for automatically analyzing a sample comprises a sample dispensing nozzle 2 for dispensing the sample and an electrolyte measurement unit 114 for carrying out internal standard liquid measurement one or more times at least before measuring the electric potential of the sample. If the electrolyte measurement unit 114 is to carry out the electric potential measurement of the sample in succession, a different internal standard liquid measurement operation is carried out before the electric potential measurement than if the electric potential measurement is not to be carried out in succession and there are to be gaps between measurement intervals. This results in the provision of an automated analyzer, automatic analysis system, and automatic sample analysis method that make it possible to reduce the influence of ambient temperature on electrolyte measurement, ensure measurement accuracy, and enhance overall device processing capacity.

In one scenario, a conveyor control system implements a hardware sensor in a conveyor system to generate sensor readings regarding an operational status of a first zone in an operational environment, where the first zone is an area where orders are fulfilled. The conveyor control system receives sensor data from the hardware sensor of the conveyor system. The sensor data includes feedback information for controlling the conveyor system. The conveyor control system then evaluates the received sensor data to determine which conveyable items are currently in the first zone and, based on the evaluation, induces the conveyable items onto the conveyor for the first zone.

Abstract: Sprockets (22) and (42) are engaged with a conveyor belt (18) itself or a chain (28) coupled to the belt. An encoder is used to determine the differential of the rotation of the sprockets. From that information, the instantaneous pitch of the conveyor belt located between the first and second rotational axes can be determined, and from that information the speed of the belt can be determined. This information can be used to control work tools or other devices that act on work products being carried by the conveyor belt.

Abstract: A carpet recycling machine includes a carpet-pile removal machine and a carpet-thickness identification means. The carpet-thickness identification means is incorporated in a carpet handling system that includes a conveyor. In use, carpet is placed pile down on one end of the conveyor which feeds the carpet in to the carpet-pile removal machine. The carpet is urged to pass the carpet-thickness identification means, which measures the thickness of the carpet's backing substrate. This measurement is used to control an offset setting means of the carpet-pile removal machine in order to set an offset between a blade and first roller. Thus the height that the blade cuts the carpet can be set for each piece of carpet processed. As the carpet continues past the carpet-thickness identification means, towards the carpet-pile removal machine, the carpet is urged into the carpet-pile removal machine to be separated in to pile and backing substrate.

Abstract: An article conveying robot system capable of effectively containing an article in a container conveyed by a conveyor by using a robot. A container detecting part measures the distribution of shading of an image of each containing cell based on a detection result of the container, detects the containing state of each cell, and stores the detection result of each cell. An information managing part of a controller of an upstream side robot receives information from a container detecting part of a controller of a downstream side robot, and then generates containing cell information. An information managing part checks the cell information to be processed, and then transmits the cell information to a task executing part only when an article is not located in the corresponding cell. Task executing part controls the robot so as to locate an article in the selected cell based on the cell information.
