Abstract: A storage wagon (1) for transporting bulk material (2) is equipped with a bottom conveyor belt (4), extending in a longitudinal direction (5) of the wagon, which is arranged within a container (3) and serves as a bottom surface, and with a transfer conveyor belt (12) positioned at a front end (13) of the wagon and projecting beyond the same. At a rear end (29) of the wagon, a loading conveyor belt (17)—displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the wagon—as well as an excavating device (21) and a work cabin (20) are provided. A front end (25) of the loading conveyor belt (17) is mounted for displacement in the longitudinal direction (5) of the wagon by means of a drive (41) on a longitudinal guide (39) extending in an upper end region (16) of the container (3), thus forming a first belt support (28).

Abstract: A conveyor segment for clean manufacturing applications. Each conveyor belt segment includes a pair of side rails parallel to each other; a pair of belt-drives for transporting work pieces from a first end to a second end of the belt segment; a pair of driving wheels for turning the belt-drives. The belt of each of the belt-drives is disposed in a serpentine path about plural, load-bearing upper idler wheels, around either a lower loop-back idler wheel or a driving wheel, and back up and around another pair of upper idler wheels. This sequence is repeated a selected number of times about additional pairs of upper idler wheels and lower loop-back idler wheels or a driving wheel before the belt is disposed beneath plural return idler wheels and back up to the starting point. Slipping between the belt and wheels is thus minimized, even in the absence of a work piece on the belt segment.

Abstract: This invention discloses a new self-check-out stand capable of handling large orders. The check-out stand has a flat belt on which items that have been scanned can be placed. This belt abuts a declining belt, with both belts preferably each having abutting ends with upper corners in which a fixed non-rotating nose rod is located with the rod extending across the width of the belt, said rods hold the abutting ends tightly together with only a small crack between the belts. The check-out stand has two sets of unpowered transition rollers to turn the items at an obtuse angle to the conveyer belts. The stand has a declining set of rollers to bring the items to the proper height for the customer to bag. The accumulation area rises from front to back to slow the items being conveyed. A scanner module with a monitor and pay station can be placed at the front end of the stand.
