    Abstract: Various embodiments of a novel attachable garment collar cover are disclosed. In one embodiment, the attachable garment collar cover has a first collar cover blade, a second collar cover blade, a first button hole edge, a second button hole edge, a rear elastic, and a collar insert opening that can form an arched groove. A collar portion of a shirt, a dress, a coat, a blouse, or another article of clothing can be inserted into the collar insert opening of the attachable garment collar cover, and be fastened by the rear elastic of the attachable garment collar cover. The attachable garment collar cover completely encapsulates the collar portion of the article of clothing to protect and/or hide the collar from stains and wear-and-tear. When attached to the collar portion of the article of clothing, the attachable garment collar cover can also provide a pleasant and unique fashion statement.

    Abstract: A necktie having an insert which causes the end of the necktie to flare out from the torso of the wearer, much like the tip of a ski. The necktie may have designs or printing thereon so as to more closely resemble a ski. The necktie which may be shaped in planform so as to more closely resemble the end of a ski: narrow and sharply pointed, or relatively rounded on the end and wider at the end than in the middle, or a very wide planform and bluntly rounded end, or shaped like a water ski, wake board, surf board, kite board, skate board, scooter, and other types of skis and boards. The invention may also comprise a retrofit insert which may be placed into a pre-existing necktie in order to render it ski shaped, and a method of advertising using the tie.

    Abstract: A necktie knot cover and retaining device is disclosed that functions as a decorative knot cover or as a knot simulator. The invention is relatively simple and easy to manufacture, yet affords a variety of uses. The knot cover consists of a one-piece continuous body having a pair of slots for receiving portions of the necktie. The knot cover is generally shaped similar to the knot to which it is covered. The device can be used with other knots and clothing, and is not limited to neckties.
