The laundry device includes at least one compressible sheet configured to contact at least a portion of at least one side of the visor continuously from side to side proximate an inner perimeter portion of the visor that faces and extends from a crown of the ball cap; first and second plates configured to sandwich the at least one compressible sheet and the visor therebetween, and having respective inner perimeter portions that face the crown, having respective outer perimeter portions that extend toward and optionally beyond the visor, and having a shape that accommodates the visor; and at least one attachment member that engages the first and second plates to join the plates and to compress and sealingly engage the at least one compressible sheet around the visor.

The sliding portion comprises a slider and a slider housing into which the slider is inserted. The slider has a rotating body containing member formed on the slider body and is configured such that a rotating body is inserted into the rotating body containing member so as to rotate freely, and a part of the inserted rotating body is exposed toward the guide rail.

The wearing apparel includes a crown section, a bill section attached at one end to a bottom edge of the crown section, a decorative illuminable assembly secured to the crown section, a charging port integrated with the crown section, and a weatherproof port cover. The decorative illuminable assembly has a design shape, at least one light emitting diode, and a power switch which connects the at least one light emitting diode with a rechargeable battery. The charging port is configured to allow charging of the of the rechargeable battery via electronic connection of a mobile device charger. In an embodiment, the article of wearing apparel is a baseball cap and the charging port is positioned centrally on a frontward facing portion of the crown section when the bill section is facing the front of a wearer.

Abstract: A folding hat can include an integrated display system. Methods for folding and manufacturing the hat with integrated displays are also disclosed. The hat can include a visor and cap of various materials integrated with displays. The hat can have hinges that fold the assembly into a small volume for stowing. The hinges are configurable in a multitude of positions and geometries to provide different folding techniques and folded geometries. Such configurations allow for a range of options for carrying and storing the folding hat with integrated display system.

Abstract: A garment attachment assembly is provided. The assembly includes a plurality of garment attachment modules each having an elongated support member, a garment attachment provided on an inner side of the support member, an accessory attachment provided on the outer side of the support member, and a coupling mechanism for coupling adjacent supports in an end-to-end configuration. Adjacent garment attachment modules can thus be coupled to adjust an overall length of the garment attachment assembly to fit a garment, and allow an accessory to be attached thereto. Corresponding method for securing an accessory to a garment is also provided.

Abstract: An earphone cable holder comprises a base having a first end portion, a second end portion, and a central portion, wherein the central portion is sufficiently flexible that the first end portion can be folded over the second end portion and wherein the central portion is sufficiently wide and sufficiently rigid to allow an earphone cable to be wound around it. The earphone cable holder further comprises a magnet on the first end portion and a material on the second end portion that is attracted to the magnet. A cable connecting mechanism is positioned on the central portion. In use, an earphone cable may be connected to the cable connecting mechanism and the first end portion and the second end portion may clasp onto a material positioned therebetween by magnetic attraction. In another version, a material on the central portion exerts a grabbing effect on a cable passing through the central portion. The earphone cable holder may also include a decorative member on which a decorative feature can be displayed.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for creating an image on a fabric includes creating a first layer of fabric having an image printed in a first color and a background printed in a second color; creating shapes printed over a top of the image, the shapes being the second color; creating a second layer of fabric having openings extending therethrough; aligning the second layer over a top of the first layer such that the shapes are positioned underneath the openings; and shifting the first layer relative to the second layer such that the image at least partially shows through the openings due to the shifting of the openings away from the shapes.

Abstract: A disposable visor to be worn on a user's head comprises a substantially flat body made of a flexible sheet material. The flat body includes a bill section that projects forwardly from the user's head when the visor is worn by the user to shield the user's face from the sun and a head-band section that connects to the bill section and forms a continuous uninterrupted band that encircles the user's head. A head opening is formed in the flat body and is configured to receive the user's head. A plurality of flexible fingers surrounds the head opening and are adapted to engage the user's head when the visor is worn by the user. During use, the fingers bend upwardly when the visor is placed on the user's head to adjust the head opening to the size of the user's head.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a bespoke cap for covering and gathering dreadlocks. More specifically, two distinct fabric patterns are layered to form a cap. The first layer's fabric pattern is a crown having a front facing brim and a half oval cut into its rear surface. The crown provides a deep volume to accommodate a large amount of dreadlocks. The second layer is a five piece fabric pattern that is sewn onto and over the first layer. Both layers combine to provide an adjustable oval like aperture at the back of the cap, which allow dreadlocks to be covered and gathered naturally without being damaged. Top panels associated with the second layer have rear closing straps that cinch the aperture at an angle. Each top panel stretches and folds over the first layer's front facing brim to its underside, providing a stylish flat-cap appearance.

The integrated headband allows for easy wearing, and prevents the headscarf from falling off the user's head. Each of the outer buttons is positioned adjacent an associated one of the inner buttons when the housing is positioned within the pocket such that manipulation of a selectable one of the outer buttons activates an associated one of the inner buttons.

It is an aim of the present invention to provide a visor cap which can widen a sun blocking area through variable visors and which enables a wearer to adjust the sun-blocking area while improving wearing comfort. To accomplish the aim, provided is a visor cap including a main body, a fixed visor, and a pair of variable visors hinged to both sides of an upper surface or a lower surface of the fixed visor, so as to vary the sun-blocking area, wherein each of the pair of variable visors includes: a first variable visor portion which is made of a textile material and one side of which is fixed at an edge of the fixed visor; and a second variable visor portion which is made of a synthetic resin material and which is coupled to the other side of the first variable visor portion.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, the article or piece of clothing includes a hat having a crown and a bill extending outwardly from the crown. A wrap-around shoulder-length sun shade or sun screen is releasably coupled, by separating zippers, to the crown and bill of the hat. If the separating zippers are closed, the wrap-around shade or wrap around screen is connected to the crown and bill. If the separating zippers are open, the wrap-around sun shade or sun screen can be detached from the crown and/or the bill.

Abstract: An attachment for the edge of an extending brim of a baseball type cap or visor is disclosed which is mounted on the edge of the extending brim to protect or repair the edge. The attachment easily mounts on the brim of a cap or visor and remains securely thereon. The brim is inserted into a slot through the side and along the full length of the attachment. The slot has flared edges that permit the attachment to be easily attached to the brim edge. As the edge attachment is mounted on the edge of a cap or visor the flared edges are deformed outward creating a spring force that firmly holds the edge attachment on the brim. The edge attachment may have an extension that extends over the top of a brim to provide additional space for the display of words, graphics, etc. that are larger than can be displayed on the much narrower front or top edge of the attachment.

A cross section of the stiffener is substantially constant in the intermediate portion between the first and second longitudinal ends, and one of the top and bottom sides is flat in cross section.

Abstract: Paper-based hats and methods for making same are disclosed. For example, a visor component and a crown component may be obtained from at least one paper-based material, such as a paper-based beverage carton. A crown-visor structure may be formed by affixing at least a portion of a non-exposed surface of the crown component to at least a portion of an upper portion of an exposed surface of the visor component. A band may be affixed to at least a portion of the crown-visor structure to support the paper-based visor on a head of a wearer of the paper-based hat. The visor component and/or the crown component may include images that were printed on the source paper-based material that are visible to an observer of the paper-based hat being worn by a wearer thereof.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a bespoke cap for people with long dreadlocks or long un-matted hair. The cap covers long dreadlocks in an aesthetically pleasing way. The bespoke cap provides a deeper crown to accommodate a large volume of dreadlocks about a wearer's head, a wide oval aperture, and an adjustable closure set at a unique angle at the rear of the cap that, together, allows locks to be gathered more naturally without being constricted. The present invention addresses the special need to cover dreadlocks without damaging them and giving a cleaner profile and a more refined appearance than caps typically worn by persons with dreadlocks.

Abstract: A baseball cap including features for stabilizing the cap in a moving stream of air. The cap includes a modified bill having a downforce generator configured to create a relatively stagnate recirculation zone between the downforce generator and the head covering. This recirculation zone tends to negate the lifting effect found in prior art bills. The invention preferably includes a vent through the bill. The vent is located behind the downforce generator, to connect the underside of the bill to the recirculation zone formed in the wake of the downforce generator. The vent is selectively closed by a flexible flap. The flap remains closed to prevent rain from passing through the vent. However, if pressure beneath the bill significantly exceeds pressure above the bill, the vent opens to equalize the pressure. This action prevents the creation of a net lifting force which might lift the cap off the wearer's head.

Abstract: A visor configuration for inside the brim of a baseball cap, that solves the problem of discomfort due to pressure against a baseball cap wearer's forehead, by providing a mechanism that enables a single, continuous piece of visor material with a T-shaped cut out space in the visor's middle section and two arched shaped cut out spaces in the visor's sides to have a cushioning effect as a result of newly allowed motion.

Abstract: By adding a second smaller bill under the main bill of a cap and creating a gap from the front to the back between the two bills, the two bills create a curved shape that acts like an airfoil and allows the free flow of air over a wearer's forehead, inducing a cooling effect. Besides the benefit of a cooling effect, the appearance of the hat is such that an observer looking at someone wearing it would not be able to tell there was anything overtly different about the design.

Abstract: A high fashion, crushable, lightweight, collapsible hat using a method of construction that produces a blockable, washable, stylish, comfortable, pliable, breathable hat, that maintains its original shape or can be easily restored to its original shape. The hat employs an open-cell foam material and a plurality of woven materials in a lamination, all materials being breathable and lightweight and as well as a method of construction that is versatile and usable for countless variations is style. The lamination is blockable even when fabrics that are not traditionally blockable are used. A stitching pattern of topstitching forms a plurality of sacs that maintain the original shape of the hat after blocking by creating an air bubble matrix structure that refills after crushing. Abstract: An embodiment of a baseball-style cap and stereo combination having a crown, a brim/bill, a sweatband, and two amplified stereo speakers concealed within the brim/bill is disclosed. The stereo components including a circuit board, an amplifier and battery are concealed within an inner surface and/or inner space defined as the area between the lowermost inner surface area of the crown and the inner surface of the sweatband when pulled apart from one another. Also included are wires connecting the battery to the circuit board and wires connecting the amplifier to the speakers both of which are concealed within the sweatband. A stereophonic music generator sends a music signal which is provided to the amplifier by any suitable means of communication, like an audio cord or wireless by means of infrared or Bluetooth wireless technology.

Abstract: A head-covering apparatus is disclosed, which extends over the top of a human head and down its sides and toward the back of the neck. The apparatus has a forward extending portion with two pocket-style openings, the first pocket for receiving a flexible material that makes up the head-covering portion of the apparatus, and the second pocket for receiving the visor or bill of a baseball-style hat. The apparatus can be affixed to the visor/bill of a baseball-style hat and used in two different configurations: in the first configuration, the invention is “unfurled” so that its flexible material covers the human head and portions of the baseball hat; in the second configuration, the invention is compacted such that its flexible material is rolled or folded into a small compacted size, and then placed into the second pocket of the forward extending portion.
